    I've had this on my BRZ since I picked it up brand new in 2018, it is SO solid and hasn't moved at all. Really recommend it, the adjustment this allows is just perfect. You get what you pay for! (I also told the dealership NOT to drill holes or I wouldn't accept the car 😂)

    The cover pieces behind the bracket can be put back in place if the cover is drilled out to a little larger than the post size. Order an extra cover if you'd like to keep the original.

    The audacity of this dogwater company is pitiful. For those that don't know, Kevin Vo was fired from FT Speed on 12/13/2022 in a disgusting way. Buy your parts from somewhere else than FTSpeed or Subispeed folks; support somewhere that supports its employees and treats them with respect.
    An 8-year, passionate, face-of-your company employee deserves the respect and courtesy of at least a conversation being had about any conflicts of interest or things that would necessitate termination of employment if continued.
    To outright fire him out of the blue without giving him a heads up or notice that something he is doing/saying will not fly and deny him the ability to make an informed decision on what his options are going forward reflects poorly upon FTSpeed/Subispeed.
    In a game where you just play the middleman, I will gladly take my business elsewhere to some other middleman that isn't FTSpeed/SubiSpeed; there are a plethora of other options out there that can access more or less the same catalogue of items.
    FTSpeed/Subiespeed did Kevin Vo dirty, when Kevin Vo was a SIGNIFICANT part of why the company is as successful as it is today - hopefully yall's marketshare takes a deserving hit and Kevin lands somewhere that will treat him better and be worthy of the good-business his passion and efforts bring forth.
    If you enjoy content like this, look up and support Kevin Vo's personal youtube channel, where I'm sure he'll be continuing to put out excellent, valueable content without getting screwed by SubiSpeed.

    All of you complaining about the missing painted piece, mount the license plate one inch higher, you'll never even notice the piece is gone. If you're really concerned you can cut a small amount of material off of the painted piece and remount it. The problem is it barely makes contact with the tow hook piece.

    Front plate is not required where I live, but if it was I would mount it in the center. If you don't want holes drilled in the center area why not use 3M tape or similiar?

    I had a 2015 BRZ that I modded. I wonder if you could do a video on what upgrades are compatible with the 2022 BRZ/86. Specifically the exhaust. I still have all the pieces and I know that the headers are going to have to be changed, but will the overpipe/frontpipe/catback need new pieces as well? Does the old stuff transfer over to the new model? Thanks!

    Have you seen the size of the holes that need to be drilled with the OEM center mount front license plate bracket?
    I'm moving to a state where a front plate is required, and there's no way I'm putting those holes in my car (2023 GR86). What if you move again? My car came with no screw holes, or indentations whatsoever.

    Is there no mount predrilled at the center of the bumper from the factory? Is this the cleanest way to mount without drilling holes?

    • @KevinVo
      @KevinVo 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No, on GR86 there are no pre-drilled holes in the bumpers. I would say this is the cleanest way to mount one alternatively.

    Seems like you'd want to replace at least the painted piece, right? How about the grill piece?

    • @KevinVo
      @KevinVo 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Due to where the tow hook mounting hole is, the painted piece makes contact unless you slightly modify it.

    • @davidcrandall7514
      @davidcrandall7514 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@KevinVo Huh, that seems strange since the tow hook itself would also foul that piece. Guess I'll have to ponder. But that means all the relocation kits have the same problem, right? Unless it's just the diameter of the securing bolt. Seems like a design flaw by somebody. Thx.

    Certain cars look better with the license plate on the side, this isn't one of them. I'd rather keep it at the factory location especially if you have a black license plate which blends in with the color of the grill.

    That’s Not a solution, it looks just awful. All it takes is a mounting bracket to be placed on the grill.

    • @KevinVo
      @KevinVo 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The mounting bracket requires holes to be drilled into the bumper. Mounting to the grille also blocks flow to the radiator.

    Funny opener and great points made, but sort of insulting to make an entire video about popping off a piece of plastic and screwing in a reloc kit. Would have been a better post for April Fool's with a 10/10 difficulty rating.
