Fralin's, hands down. Far more range, depth and dynamic string attack response. I have them in my '90 Gibson Les Paul Junior (bridge only guitar) and my 2005 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe - killer tone for blues, rock and country. Great demo Lightfoot, really appreciate your attention to detail. ~ john
I liked both. It sounded mostly like a difference in winds, with the originals being lower winds. Of course, subtleties are lost through YT, and we can't sense any differences in feel.
those Fralins sound great, and for not being the hum-cancelling versions, I don't hear much hum or buzz from them in your video.....is that your experience?
Hi Adam, I don't find them to be particularly noisy, they definitely get quieter when in the middle position, but the bridge and neck are fairly quiet.
I came here to listen to the fralins but these polecats won me over ,they sound massive and that's the sound I'm going with.
Haha that’s awesome! Both are great just different flavors.

Much prefer the originals.

@@lightfootfx great to hear.
@@maxpeck4154 that sounds like a killer setup. 🤘
@@lightfootfx I'm pretty happy with it.
I much preferred the originals. Are they for sale lol
Unfortunately I did sell them already. But you can buy them from pioneer pickups website.
@@lightfootfx I looked but couldn't find their website.?
@@mmatthewias280 shop.veritasguitars.com/collections/pickups/p90s looks like they changed the name of the website to veritas. But these are them.
The original pickups sound a lot better to me. The Fralins are a bit muddy.
Fralin for me
What effect(s) are u running at 5:30 in. That causes the reverb to sound broken up
I was running the kilt on the red setting, then just running it into the jet rev V2 into the amp modeler's.
Awesome thanks. Trying to get that broken up reverb sound
@@cwfarm3793 running a reverb into the front of an amp(or modeler) that’s breaking up a bit will get you a similar effect too.
How is the main amplifier of your UA Dream?
helo lightfoot your guitar is much cool
Fralin wins for me
