I think both. Theres going to be some that seize an opportunity, but any Afghan that helped any NATO troops over there should absolutely be given priority. I'm disgusted that over the years the UK government has denied Visa's for Afghans that have directly helped our troops. You'll even hear of commonwealth citizens fighting under the flag of Great Britain that get the same treatment. I'm lost for words tbh.

Try asking those who are responsible for making decisions instead of a soldier on the ground maybe if those in power were less interested in peoples pronouns, gender or apologising for the colour of their own skin then maybe the soldiers who are ultimately left to deal with this abortion of a situation wouldn't need to feel helpless trying to sort it out
There is no evidence there is any relationship between people identifying under a more varied amount of pronouns in the UK in recent decades and the very slight government acknowledgment or care surrounding the issue of gender identity and that of the current crisis in Afghanistan. You have drawn a line between two issues that have absolutely no relation. The UK government have spent extremely little time discussing the issues surrounding gender identity. I can promise you they most certainly haven't spent to much time discussing it to give time to dealing with the crisis in Afghanistan.
We're all confused, scared and angry about what's going on in Afghanistan. People are also very confused and often feel fustrated by the complex issues of gender identity. But to make the claim these issues are worsening the governments ability to focus on Afganistan is an unfounded claim build from a disliking for those who discuss issues of gender you may not personally have a stake in or understand.
It seems hateful and not very thoughtful a link to make with no foundation or backing argument.
