My best friend since childhood is from Syria both parents were doctors that owned their own practices. Moving to the United States their medical degrees were no longer recognized. So they had to go back to medical school in the US. Now both very successful and own their own practices here in the US now. My point is no matter how long it takes do what makes you happy!

      Not really....
My dad Chinedu Mogebubuimpanzee is from Nigeria. In the nineteen eighties he fled the country where he was also a Colonel in the 1666664th Fighter wing flying Spitfires. He came to America but as a black man he couldn’t get a good job-despite going back to college. He ended up working at a nursing home in Texas where he changes adult diapers on old people and wipes spit from their mouth. Sometimes when he comes home, he drinks heavily. When drunk, he shakes with rage and rolls on the floor in total despair. He keeps saying “I am Chinedu, the son of Chief Maganugubambamobutu..How dare the Americans reduce me to the status of Chief Buttocks Wiper?!!!”

Most of the Afghan Air Force pilots didn't perish; many evacuated or were coerced into working with the Taliban, with some willingly doing so due to ethnic ties or past alliances.
Reports suggest that the Taliban now have complete control and surveillance over the remaining pilots stranded in Afghanistan. These pilots have allegedly been threatened, along with their families, to comply with Taliban demands.
Khial's observation is accurate: pilots were targeted before August 15th, butthe primary focus is the NDS officers and ANA special forces.
On another note, the documentary on the Taliban's 2021 takeover fails to capture the gravity of the situation, itz just about the life changes experienced upon entering US soil as a migrant.
Credit to Colonel Khial's American comrades for their concern and remembrance of him, contrasting with their government's approach.

The Taliban have 2 Antonov transports, maybe 4 or 5 working helicopters and absolutely no spare parts or manufacturer support. The Afghan air force flew the majority of its aircraft out the country. There's probably only a couple actual pilots left.

you are wrong ,there are jobs in Afghanistan, but unfortunately for the last 20 years Afghan people are kinda used to american incomes 😂 yes, new government can’t provide same salary as they used to get 💵 💸 😂... good thing about our new government that they are not corrupt, they respect the rule of law as well as the principle that all people are equal under the law, they got rid of drugs, kidnapping, robbery and hundred more negative things... right now private institutes private English classes medical universities nursing schools are open for girls, women are working in certain places…✌️
