Thank you for this interesting and beautiful video! I returned home to Norway a few days ago after having spent some days with a friend walking the towpaths of the whole of Union Canal and the Forth & Clyde Canal from Lochrin Basin to Bowling. We also took a detour to see the Kelpies. A fantastic walk with beautiful scenery and a lot of history. Lovely to recognize this in the video 😊

Hi Andy, what a great insight to the Union canal, well presented as usual. The Black Country wording on your hoodie is brilliant!

It did it a few years ago from the wonderful wheels which starts off by moving sideways, strange feeling in a lift to the amazing tunnel and impressive aquaducts especially thenew one over 6 lane moterway.

The whole canal is rather under appreciated - now I want to explore the Forth and Clyde.

Hello Andy, I really appreciated this video. As always, the history is fascinating, and the drone videos across the aqueducts were mesmerizing. The 1904 Icicle picture was funny. I am so glad that people took the time to restore this canal!

Why don't you give teleprompter a go? - a fantastic app that allows you to recite text directly from your phone whilst utilising the video camera

This canal used to be crystal clear with lots of wildlife and fish but now due to these barges it is now a disgusting brown mess. These people that use barges are disspicable.
