- Chad Phoung came to the U.S. as a child, but it was a move to Texas as an adult that introduced him to Texas BBQ. Now the "Cambodian Cowboy" serves his Long Beach community with Texas-style BBQ with a uniquely Cambodian twist.

I truly enjoy this success immigrant story. Cambodians in general lack the representations in all aspects of American society. It is always nice to see one them becoming an entrepreneur. Hmmm, a Cambodian cowboy, who would have thought of that.
