Thank you Kent, Shannon and Major. These videos are proof that a wonderful part of American history is still alive and well. It takes a special kind of person to live the life y'all do. I couldn't do it -- at 2:30 in the morning, I'm usually just going to bed, not getting up to fix breakfast. Love the cattle drive. One time my Son and I were driving on a small road near the Wyoming border North of Hahn's peak in Colorado when a cattle drive headed toward us. I pulled over to the side and stopped. All of a sudden a bull out front started running full tilt toward us with 20 or 30 other cattle following. I had my Son crawl under the dash because I thought they were going to trash the car. Instead we were surrounded with cattle licking every inch of our car. They cleaned it better than the best car wash. My Son and I's concern turned to delight as we watched those tongues working away. What a sight. Wish I had a camera.

This was absolutely fantastic. PBS chicago confirmed getting my message- I told them to call you. This belongs on TV. That intro was a home run. Awesome!
I think this might just be my favorite video yet. With all the mess in this crazy world i just got lost for a little bit on the trail. Thank you for that Kent and Shan! Love you guys like family!
Thank you for doing what y’all do cooking and Bertha was looking mighty fine
"Why do you get up so early?"
"Because nobody's had time to mess up the day yet."👍
It's great to be alone with the Lord, too!🙌
Which lord? Partial to the Flying Spaghetti Monster myself..
What a beautiful place to live.
So pretty it is
THIS is going to be such a GREAT series!!!...I can't wait to see more of this in the channel. The recipes are great...but the history and true life is what's going to make it POP that much more....

Love and deeply welcome your ending Kent.
As a Senior Citizen who served in my younger years in the late 60s as a combat Marine of the Vietnam War didn't get any welcome homes but your final blessing prayer and wishes is well received. Thank you.
