    It sucks that Colombia is like this. This is why im scared to get to close to a girl here because then i gotta watch every word i say. Like if she came ro my apartment i would be forced to hide my credit cards and stuff like that. Its a sad way to live. I might be leaning to head to south east Asia its definitely more safe there

      I hear you, although there are definitely a lot of girls you can build trust with over time that will have your back. The good thing is anyone with bad intentions will expose themselves sooner or later.

      Then don't go for the hood girls. There are thousands of girls who come from good families.

      As a man married to a Colombiana , I wonder what type of women you are dating and seriously I would question your judgement if you are inviting women to your place that you do not trust, I will give you some sage advice , if something seems to be going really well it is probably a scam, Colombian women are not easy in the beginning but it gets better every day.

    Watch out if they ask for a small loan, you will think it isn't much, so you loan it. They pay it back quickly like a few weeks or a month. Then they will ask for a larger loan later. You think, we'll they paid me back on the other loan, I will loan them the larger amount. This is actually a trick mentioned in the book Influence.

    it is critical, that you have a working knowledge of the language of the country you travel to, especially if you are traveling alone, which you shouldn't do either way. Guys should stop traveling for ladies, especially if you are not planning on living in the Country you travel to long term.

    Have you been to Mexico city? If so, it is relatively safe there for foreigners?

    • @jazzcatjohn
      @jazzcatjohn 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I have. It's relatively safe. I would put it on par with NYC. You want to be aware but not paranoid. I know you didn't ask me but throwing it out there to be helpful.

      @@mcluvin65 What is DF and is it good for meeting attractive women?

    • @BushidoNomad
      @BushidoNomad  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I agree with what jazzcat said very safe for Latin American standards, but it's still a major city so just basic common sense would be good to have. The "orrilla" (outskirts and cheapest areas) can be a bit sketchy but it's usually limited to just armed robbery not the whole kidnap and drain bank account situations that are more common in Colombia

    The issue with crypto is there is no way of recovering what is lost.. People will literally hold you at gunpoint until you give them your metamask password or ledger pin code and drain you. Scary shit.
