Anyone else feel like his quality of acting in this was overlooked because it’s a superhero movie?
No
Yes
Yes
Absolutely, one of the best films I’ve ever seen starred Robert Downey jr as a gay man with a mostly unsupportive family during a christmas kind of event, and at the time of filming he was pretty young, but he was so raw. He really feels his characters.
Maybe in the sense of the cast being filled with great actors at the time... For the most part. Hulk could have been much better ofc. But Look at Odin, Loki, Thor, Widow, and Eitri(the dwarf smith).
The fact he believed they wouldve beaten thanos with cap there speaks volumes
He always had so much respect for Cap, this is a tough scene to watch
Trade starlord for cap and it would’ve been one movie.
Thor would’ve been overkill
Not necessarily. What he meant is that he lost, AND Cap wasn't there, not necessarily because Cap wasn't there. Cap promised that they would fight as a team, and they didn't.
On titan they probably could have
He was broken because of Peter
Thats why he did it again for him
Peter was around 16 so he literally saw a kid died in front of him
@@joelpena209 A kid that he took under his wing, encouraged, and mentored.
Keep in mind this all happened after he found out cap best friend murdered his mom and dad and then Steve jumped him fuck cap 😂
Peter griffin?
It hurt his soul when Tony said "no trust"
"do you trust me?" "i do"
you remember that one time cap and bucky beat tony within an inch of his life with the added emotional damage of “yes tony, i knew bucky murdered your parents the whole time” ?
i probably wouldve laughed hard at Cap trying to make battle plans with me after that
@@kendou_edits they didn't beat him within an inch of his life wtf? All they did was break his mask and de-power his suit. They didn't want to hurt Tony they were just defending themselves because Tony was blinded by rage. That's why Cap left after breaking the arc reactor. His goal was to protect Bucky not beat Tony up.
@@rorymayo3332bro Tony had both of them at the inch of their life they literally jumped him
@@rorymayo3332 thats called an exaggeration sir lol. Please tell Cap I didn’t mean to offend him in anyway.

And completely improvised
@@mk-jamie2923 I'm trying to recall TWD scene, can you enlighten me? Something to do with Andrea maybe?
That “liar” was improvised. Goated acting from RDJ. Captured the hurting of a man that was betrayed by his best friend
Not betrayed dude
@@chetansamarth9035his best friend teamed up with the murderer of his mother and father to beat Tony. If your best friend fought you to protect the murderer of your mother and father, you’d what? Smile? No. You’d be betrayed. Turned against. And you’d be fucking heated
@@DiceyAssassin That's not what Tony's angry about anymore. He's talking about Cap not being there when Tony's group fought Thanos on Titan.
He wanted Cap to be there when they fought Ebony Maw, and went in that spaceship to save Dr. Strange.
They werent best friends. They just act in one thing common
@andremacedo8319 Cap and Tony's relationship is deeper than that. You have to remember that Tony grew up in the shadow of Steve. Howard Stark ALWAYS raved about how great Cap was and seeing as Tony and Howard didn't have the best relationship and Tony always sought approval and acknowledgement from Howard, there was always this underlying resentment Tony had towards Steve because Cap got from Howard what Tony felt ge didn't get.
So, when Cap and Tony finally meet, it was like Tony meeting the ghost of his childhood emotional terror and given how "righteous" Cap is, there was an almost immediate disconnect and friction between the two. Still, they both fought for the same ideology and co-led a team, where at the very least there was a trust and respect for one another.
When Tony found out Bucky killed his parents and that Cap knew all along, yes, Tony felt betrayed and wholly pissed off because Cap was the living embodiment of Howard's memory. In a strange way, outside of Pepper and Happy, Cap was the closest thing Tony had to family and so, for Cap to defend the man thatvkill3d Howard, for Tony, that was the ultimate betrayal, especially after everything these two had been through together.
When the world neeed Cap and Tony together they had already been fractured because of the whole Bucky situation and that's the root cause of Tony's anger in this scene. Tony needed his "big brother" and he wasn't there.
I’m glad someone actually fused the references from age of ultron to endgame very underrated avengers movie.

He means that cap wasn’t there to see them lose. Not that he needed him. They never needed him, they only lost cuz quill
@@Kzerstl no, I think the OP is correct.
Sure, he probably wouldn't have won the day for them but Tony views Steve as a 'wiseman' that will always ultimately guide them to the win.
He's the anchor and foundation of the team.
He knows of course that Steve couldn't beat Thanos physically.
@@Kzerstlif cap was there he could have stopped quil with LITERALLY one punch.... Or do what cap does best and talk to quil and MAYBE be a damn leader....
He was in a spiral from watching his surrogate son, peter parker, die in his arms terrified. I think he was talking about himself
Tony meant that Steve spilt up the team and because of that they were all weaker overall.
This argument is so damn organic and painful
To be fair Tony did not call and even if Captain America was there with them on Titan they would have still got their ass kicked actually if Star Lord wasn't there they probably would have had a chance maybe
Yep! Excellent articulation! 👏👏👏
We took this era of MCU for granted... they proved it in this scene alone...
Yeah we did. We didn't know how good we had it. before Disney decided to kill itself.
To be fair, not really. This is probably going to remain the biggest movie event to ever hit theaters. It was unanimously seen as the goated movie franchise at this time and all different demographics were into it at the time. It was peak culture at the time

Love how the camera moves in the edit. Steve is calm so is the camera. Tony is agitated and unstable so is the camera
@@anonymousanomaly3136is that known or speculation? Very interesting!
@alanb8884 the tracking is part of this edited video. Not the movie itself.
It's annoying when the camera moves with Tony
When you realised a good portion of this acting was improv especially the glass breaking scene, RDJ is a crazy actor
Tony knew the exact words to cut cap to his core
i mean those words could cut through anyone's core
Tony never trusted anyone had trust issues so it really meant something that he trusted Caps word that even if they lose he will be right there with him. So when they lost and Cap wasn’t there it really broke Tony’s heart and reopened his trust issues.
To be fair Tony did not call
@@mychealmcknight7963 true but time after time Cap shows Tony that Cap will forever be living in the past instead of building for the present/future. The ending of End Game mirrored this by showing Cap living his days in the past instead of continuing to live in the present. He will never be fully fulfilled/happy in the present knowing he really wants to live in the past. Ironman death opened his eyes to that.
The emphasis on “needed” here is so powerful. RDJ does such a good job driving that in but at the same time makes you feel like there isn’t any way to explain how much the world needed Ultron.
He was just very sad because he lost spidey and strange
And because billions of people lost ppl too
He mostly felt responsible for Peter. He didn't like strange. Peter was only there because of him
And Captain wasn’t there

i remember seeing this in the theaters, i cried during this scene. It was, and still is so powerful and emotional.
It is heartbreaking because you could tell he really trusted Cap at this point and truly believed if he was there they would have won. It hurts so much to see Ironman fall here, even if for a little.
I love how Steve is such a man of honor that he actually believes those words from Tony. When in reality Steve had no way of knowing this was gonna happen during civil war.
He knew, technically. Tony told them that the Chitauiri Army was still capable, and that eventually the Avengers were going to need and tackle it.
@@ajdominguez1002but it wasn't his fault that they weren't together
This shit hit so damn hard. Easily the hardest part of the whole movie. Tony was messed up and cap knew he was wrong and they both walked away with a lot to think about
They will never repeat this awesomeness. That’s bitter sweet.
Pete was like a little brother, little version of him so when he lost parker, its broke him
Out of everyone what hurt him the most was Peter dying in his arms 😢
This duo made the mcu
The fact that he was wearing almost the exact same shirt when he said “we’ll do that together too” is crazy
I just love that as each movie went on we saw tony and steve switch role tony became selfless and more about everyone else and steve slowly became about himself and his life
Steve is a hypocrite bro
Simply not true
@@I_am_poopp wrong
I fundamentally disagree. Starks motivation for doing ANYTHING was his damn ego. Shutting down weapons manufacturing, creating Ultron, serving the UN, ALL was because of his ego. It honestly wasn't until Endgame and he had a family that his ego had taken a bit of a backseat.
@jonathanhallberg3009 stark always had his ego but creating ultron was because he was the only one to actually how big Thanos army is. I think the true reason for serving the Un and trying to get everyone with powers located was to battle a threat like Thanos they can't really recruit everyone or one nation would be considered overpowered but if they needed them they know were to locate them.
I love captain America because no matter what people say too him he’ll remain calm and take everything
cause he was right , tony was upset because he thinks he lost peter because of him
This is why I fvcking love iron man

Both stood up against the Mad Titan.
Not gonna lie… I’ve never understood Tony saying “ we lost and you weren’t there”
Cap literally gave him a package with a phone and a note saying if you ever need me, call. Tony didn’t call. Didn’t even call with his nano tech suit on.
Hulk was the one to find the phone after the aliens had trashed the place, and the screen was cracked, so it shows Tony had that phone in his pocket all the time. He didn't exactly have the time to pull it out of his pocket when they attacked, and Bruce found it right there where Tony had activated his suit. Tony's emotional, exhausted, almost at deaths door in this moment, so it's understandable for him to have this strong reaction, considering that in Tony's opinion, if cap hadn't gone against him in civil war, they would ALL have been together and able to do something, and he blames cap for all of that.

This was one of the best scene for me in end game if not it was the best scene it was a emotional strong and powerful moment and it was like the beginning of the reuniting
They need oscars, and the title of the award to just be “cap and Stark” almost every scene they have together is incredible
It's the worst kind of argument when there is no yelling
I always find it amazing that Tony didn't know or doesn't acknowledge that he wasn't there for Cap's fight against Thanos.
Ofc he wasn't. He was stranded on Titan bc they couldn't take the Guardians' ship yet
Ohh god…. save that war in wakanda for the peanut gallery, steve was to busy sucking Buckys strong arm in wakanda.
Another thing Tony didn't exactly call Steve so I kind of understand Tony's frustration but think about it he didn't really call him so he couldn't help him
His world was his loved ones - exactly why all his loved ones got a suit - so he could protect his world.
Seeing spiderman pass away in front of his eyes, while spiderman was crying and saying he didnt want to leave/die, it felt like his own son passed away in kind of a way..
Avengers Infinity War has one of the most unique endings ive seen. The fact that everyone we love and care died just like that, with a snap, would actually be traumatising if i were still a kid
Cappy had it right, freedom is more important than safety. The safest hands are still our own.
In theory yes but in practice he was straight up hypocrite- didn’t even read the sokovia accords because it gave regular people the freedom to choose how they’d use his services.
If anything, Tony’s anger was completely justified.
"That didn't work out" I don't care what anyone says, Ultron wasn't Tony's fault. They had an Idea to create a planetary defense A.I and then never got a chance to actually do it or do anything. The stupid scepter came to life and already had its own intelligence. Tony literally looks at Bruce and says, "we didn't do this. Were we even close to an interface?"
Dont forget the virus and him being influenced by Wanda hex who just gotta pass on what she did when she should have been in jail at the end of that movie
@dbears1603 Wanda should've been locked up way before she went on a homicidal killing spree. She got so many passes that it was ridiculous.
But it was a bad idea, they should have just made a thousand normal ais not 1 super ai
@@matt-yl9skno it was actually a great idea they would have put Jarvis inside it and it would have been fine. Wanda changed everything
@michaelmoreno1683 That's 100% correct, and they proved their point when they actually tried to make an A.I. and it was Vision. When they actually had a chance and tried to do what they wanted to do originally, everything worked out because Iron Man is the real hero of the franchise. RIP
That "Liar" is chilling.
Thing is, this is one of the first times Tony has truly lost and to have no idea what to do next, possibly the smartest man in the world to "Not Know" is a feeling he probably didn't know how to process
No one but downey could have pulled this role off on the big screen. Every time i look back and remind myself where he started, its heart breaking and legitimately inspiring.
That shit broke my heart the first time I saw it
He lost the closest thing to a son he ever had in Peter. I always believed that RDJ Stark has some of the greatest character development in all of pop culture. They wrote the piss out of this character, and with a legend like RDJ to bring those words to life it becomes something so much more. He went from a vapid, shallow rich boy to a man trying to protect what he loved as well as people whom he would never meet. He never tried to become a tyrant in this universe. He truly sought to be a guardian. A sentinel for humanity. And while you could maybe say it was driven by the desire to be loved for his deeds, I believe by this point in his story, he was beyond those ideas. One of the most selfless and humanitarian versions of Stark we will ever see.
Not exactly. He does care, but at the same time he doesn’t have the discipline or wisdom to do so appropriately. The whole point of Ultron was him desperately trying not only to keep anyone from dying, but also to weasel out of the responsibility of protecting the world. He wants control, but can’t handle what the responsibility is. Dr.Strange, if anything, is everything he could have been and would have gained.
All Cap could see is everything Tony lost... His parents and Peter
RDJ is just too good
They did Tony dirty, put him on Titan to fight Thanos wit one other person who can box and a bunch of bafoons
And they almost beat him, if only quill could've kept his cool, but he was heartbroken too, lost his love because of Thanos. Everyone says that was out of character for quill has never lost the one they loved.
Tbf, he was the one that wanted to ambush Thanos on Titan. He put himself in that situation instead of turning the ship around.
@@cameronpritchett8300 Anyone who says that's out of character for Quill is kinda stupid honestly. Like, in Guardians 2, as soon as Ego told him what happened to his mom, he instantly started shooting. It's been established he doesn't have a great temper or self control.

You know I never felt that these two ever truly reconciled.
Exactly why we treasure these OG Avengers and this era of their acting ... 🎬
I’ve always felt like I’m the only one to agree with Tony. We saw in the ‘utopian’ 818 universe that Tony had the iron legion working and in that same universe they defeated thanos along with many other achievements. Tony stark is Tony stark but after New York he was much more selfless. Cap was his best friend and people shit on Tony for what happened in winter soldier but who can honestly say that they would be calm after watching a video of someone killing the 2 people you love most in the world while he’s standing next to you. I don’t believe Tony would’ve killed Bucky. But Tony was just trying to save the world and the people he loved. He tried to go and attack the threat (thanos) head on without sacrificing anyone else. But he didn’t know what would come next. But he goes and loses everything he has left, and when he gets back he’s starving, half dead, and gutted. So of course he’s going to be angry with him he hadn’t seen him.
Very well said. I agree
This might be inspiring or something but sadly. I ain't readin allat. Sorry
I really REALLY wanted him to kill Bucky. The Winter Soldier is such an overrated character. A serious liability with the voice command thing and he did absolutely nothing in any of the future movies. Hell he did nothing in his own freaking series but sit and mope all day!
To realize that Tony was right from the beginning and he always saved the avengers, the world from the very first avenger movie it was him
Yet his Thoughts and plans were neglected by cap
Love RDJ❤LOVE IRON MAN❤
tony wanst right...
you actually missing the point of tonys arc.
Tony only won, 1 in millions of possibilities when he played like cap, like a TRUE HERO, he jumped on the granade and sacrificed his life ofor everyone else.
Same with strange (the other sciece/study of magic guy) that only won when he gave up control and let himself die for a chance of his friends saving the day, he won when he embraced FAITH.
@@CrawzitowTony was about right. You admitting tony won defeats your argument
he wasn't right , he blames cap for not being together but he just flew in space , how does he expect cap to be on a fucking distant planet and besides he wasn't with cap on earth . Civil war was also his fault , so it was tony's mistakes all along
The fact he's blaming Cap, when he's the one who chose not to go back to earth where all the backup was
This was oscar worthy. I felt all of this.
This is a great edit. Good job. And I’ve always said it proved tony was right. And like originally what widow said “it doesn’t matter how we’re together as long as we are together and having one hand on the wheel we can still steer.
Had cap just swallowed his pride they would have been together not wanted felons and in infinity war been together as one and just might have stopped thanos original attack. But cap couldn’t let his pride go.
As well as went under the radar cap knew about Bucky killing Tony’s parents and kept that from him all that did was make it worse no trust. And liar for when cap said if you need me I’ll be there he wasn’t. Tony went in originally on his own and by chance had Spider-Man and Dr strange and by luck had the guardians. But again if cap would have just signed and kept it together then when this attack happened no question Ross would have been like ok do what y’all need to do. Clearly due to roady being there.
I’ve always said this roady has been a much better friend to Tony than cap. Roady had his back right from the start.
And like vision said who ya know had the mind stone so clearly more intelligent said I get your doing what you think is right but for the collective good you must stand down and in age of ultron calculation of a matter of time before strength inviting challenge. Vision understood that.
And I must point out that in the accords black panther was kinda a hypocrite. Wanting all these enhanced to sign the accords and have like a powered people registration going on yet kept what he was hidden 🤷♂️ no one knew how advanced wakanda was.
But he made up for it when tchalla said to his father you were wrong leaving the child his cousin and for letting their discovery lead them away from helping people knowing they could save and help millions of people form what they have learned form vibrainum.
Imagine if tony found it. If he got to play with it for a while all those thousands of tons of it what Tony could have created.
Furthermore WandaVision series also proved Tony correct. The only issue I had with Team Stark was how long the accords were to be active. If less than 5 years no prob longer than that we would have to negotiate.
hmmmm tony wasn’t right in civil war obviously but ultron was never the way to go
@@jesusisking77740 no it wasn’t but that’s age of ultron the idea was good but the execution wasn’t.
In civil war the whole which team and everyone may be different but infinity war proved had cap just said ok ill sign but before I do like he almost did make deals with Bucky not to be hurt and we go get him not the the government.
Had he signed they would have all been together and that first attack could have been stopped and with all of them they would have easily defeated Cole obsidian and MA. Forcing thanos to come to earth and would have had a significant better chance to beat thanos had they been together.
Clearly what cap did forced them to he apart.
I mean it’s that simple had he of signed they would have been together and had a much better chance of winning in infinity war. 🤷♂️ can’t be the other way cause we know what the other way of cap not signing they lost due to they were apart which was caps choice.
And also cap is supposed to the symbol of doing the right thing and claimed tony was his friend. And then not telling him about Bucky. And cap knew for a long time all the way back in winter soldier. So in age of ultron cap already knew the truth. That was messed up.
That’s why I always said roady was a brother a real friend cap was just a guy at work nothing more.
Now let’s discuss the future nomad and secret wars. Rumor is Chris evans is signed on already just recently to do nomad the story in between civil war and infinity war and possible we get to see him return the stones maybe.
As well as secret wars. Ya know what would be cool. What if we got to see 838 Tony stark? What if 838 Tony blamed 616 for killing his friends that Wanda killed. And he’s coming to end them. Now hold up how would he do this. What ifffff 838 is superior Ironman ??! How fucking cool would that be to see RDJ return as 838 superior Ironman. Superior Ironman is so OP he would be the fucking perfect villain. With the white and blue suit. Omg
Let’s go further…what if secret wars superior Ironman was the Harold of GOD emperor DOOM? Omg I hope one day we get too see GE: DOOM and what storyline of secret wars BATTLEWORLD! Now that would be so dope seeing all these variants in the multiverse coming together in battleworld omg that be so dope.
Mcu better do somthing cause they have significantly gone down hill.
Compare the og mcu movies like winter solider and civil war and infinity war and endgame to shit like Thor 4 the marvels 🤦 so fucking terrible.
I think Thor 4 was the worst MCU movie made to date. It was cringe.
Hell the only movie that was top notch amazing was no way home. That was beautiful film. But other than that what stands out? The Loki series was cool and I thought falcon winter solider was pretty decent. And then shit like she hulk 🤦💩 soooooo cringe and bad. … MCU needs to slow down and focus on making the film good quality over just pushing out as much shit as possible with one go. And Dr strange 2 was mediocre at best which sucks I was so looking forward to that. And the cgi has been nerfed. It’s like the cgi has slowly gotten worse…
Other than I’d say no way home and actually Eternals wasn’t to bad a lot of decent stuff. Then Thor 4 being so horrible cringe terrible cgi terrible story and ruined gorr….and completely ruined Zeus. Made him a joke….

Honestly this scene further cements Cap as my favorite hero (I also really like Iron Man, so no need to start a huge thing Team Iron Man 😂):
Tony was about to call Cap and never did, then within 30 more min is off to space. There is zero time in which Cap could have "been there".
An act that actually goes against The Accords that Iron Man was so big on, which is the whole reason Cap wasn't "there" in the first place.
Iron Man desperately rallied behind The Accords because he's always struggled with handling his own trauma, (Iron Man 3, Ultron, the woman confronting him in Civil War, his admittance to Strange about New York/Thanos being in his head, here...) just as he's now venting at Cap.
Cap just lets him. He knows Tony needs to get it out, and doesn't push back but instead just takes it, despite knowing exactly what happened with Ultron, the Accords, etc. Even Rhoades regretted his signature on those documents, Tony's right-hand.
That is partially Cap's fault in a way, because he fought pretty much everyone just for Bucky and shattered the Avengers. Tony was completely right in that they needed to be regulated, because the damage they caused in New York and Wanda's actions at the start of the film killed god knows how many people.
Tony literally watched Bucky kill his parents and Steve was still defending him. I wouldn't call Steve either.
He then had the audacity to try and calm Tony down after half the universe died as well as the person he considered to be a son in his arms. And when trying to get home he was on death's door with no hope of survival.
If he lost Pepper, it would have been far worse.
@lazyshadow5027 I disagree entirely.
Even if The Avengers needed to be regulated, The Accords were the worst way to do it. Hydra had already proven that it had infiltrated the deepest parts of more than just one country's government. Tony broke The Accords by following Cap and Bucky to kill the other Winter Soldiers. He also broke The Accords in Infinity War when he went after Ebony Maw in space. None of that was sanctioned, making him a hypocrite. He was making his decision out of pure emotion, which is what most Iron Man fans say they hate about Cap this movie (despite it being the first emotional choice he's ever made). THAT is what shattered The Avengers.
As for the destruction in New York and Sokovia, how many lives would have been lost had they NOT intervened? The Tesseract drawing Loki was SHIELD's fault, The Avengers weren't even formed yet; they fixed the government's mess 😂 Ultron was 100% Tony's fault alone, not The Avengers as a whole. And again... had they not intervened at Sokovia, Zemo's family still would have died, as would EVERY single human there.
As for Bucky... not sure if you're a Harry Potter fan, but people who murdered while under the Imperius Curse were pardoned. This is even worse: there is no defense to what happened to Bucky, and he is haunted by every single act he was forced to do as Winter Soldier. It was literally not him as a person. I'm not saying that makes Tony's reaction non-understable, but it does make Cap defending him understandable. He was literally innocent. Tony obviously believed the same thing after the fact, as he made peace with Cap. If anything, him killing Bucky would have likely haunted him long after the fact because he IS A good person, he's just incapable of handling his emotions (which was an entire point of his arc, and is what makes him human and relatable). "He fought everyone just for Bucky." Another way of saying that is, "Everyone fought Cap and Bucky to apprehend (kill in BP's case) the WRONG MAN for a crime he did not commit. At the airport Tony childishly refused to listen to anything Cap had to say, he literally tried to explain everything and Tony didn't even give him the time of day. Childish, impatient, and always completely certain that due to his high intelligence, he just MUST be right.
Your final point was Cap trying to calm Tony down... he was trying to solve the whole 'half the universe dying' problem you mentioned. And when he realized Tony needed to get everything off his chest (figuratively and literally), he let him; he didn't shout back, he didn't argue, and he didn't hold a grudge, just let him do what he needed while still caring for him.
So no... definitely not Cap's fault. His only fault was not telling Tony the truth, yet even that it's clear on why... Tony clearly would have reacted out of emotion and gone after an innocent man haunted by things he had zero chance to not do. Heck, in Falcon & Winter Soldier we see him trying to make up for those things despite not being in control... Bucky is a good man who didn't deserve to be murdered in cold blood.
I hope the future of Marvel is as bright as their past
They have the best on screen chemistry I've ever seen really.
Dang!!! Even Cap had to shut up and eat that plate.... He had no come back and only regrets...
Leadership isn't EZ!
he didn't say anything because tony was upset
Yeah, but Iron Man tried to put him in jail.
That whisper of "liar" was meant to hurt.
It did 😢
This was one of the best acting scenes in the MCU yet. Downey and Evans made phenomenal performances
Cap didn't lie, he is so handsome and fearless
Lmfao what does handsome got to do with this
He was in Wakanda and fought. So he was there.
BEAUTIFUL EDITING ❤
that “*no* trust. *liar*.” breaks me every time.
Tony might have not been the better person but he had the best heart
I have, and will always be Team Iron Man. Tony was a visionary, and knew about how dangerous future threats could be. Cap,on the other hand, was stuck in the past, just like Ultron himself said, “Pretending he could live, without any war” and was afraid of change, and the hardest choices needed to do
Tony was totally out line here. He was wrong in Civil War, and he is just as wrong here. He knows it, but he lashes out at Steve because he needs an outlet for his rage and Steve is there. Steve on the other hand is patient and kind and lets Tony vent without taking it personally. You know, like an adult.
r3t@rd. Guess you skipped Age of Ultron huh.
@@Dadkvar he may have been out of line but he wasn't wrong. He was right about everything he just said and Cap knew it. He didn't LET tony vent for being an adult, he was feeling guilty cuz he knew Tony was right. Get off the Cap fan train.
Tony was the one afraid of change. His armor around the world was a desperate attempt to never lose. No matter the cost.
Not being able to let go isn't the hard choice. Being willing to lose for the right reasons absolutely is.
@@FireLordIrohbeing able to let go? Like Cap couldn’t just let Bucky go? Tony was thinking about everyone else in Civil War, about the boy who did die because of their fights. Cap was ONLY thinking about his best friend. Who exactly is the selfless one?
Tony did what he always did, thought he could handle it and thought he was right, when he’s proven wrong…again, it cost him. Tony isnt right here, he just in denial attacking his old mistakes.
iron man fanboys don't understand facts bro
Not even an argument, just Tony SHITTING his emotions onto Cap.
Rdj is an incredible actor, he is the building blocks of the MCU and we miss his presence on the big screen in marvel every movie
Liar hit so hard
Fun fact. That word is improvised
W edit ngl this hit hard.
The fact that their division happened because of Tony was the real tragedy. Tony couldn’t see past himself.
This scene makes me cry to this day bc it gives me flashbacks to a best friend I had a falling out with andnhe died when we just starting to mend our friendship. It put me on a hell bent path to never let my people struggle alone. He was my Tony Stark, R.I.P. ❤❤❤❤
You guys remember in the first Avengers movie when Tony said "If we can't save the world then we'll Avenge it." Feels a little weird to see him not willing to avenge the world he couldn't save in this scene.
Yeah but the fact that Cap turned on him when Ultron happened yet Tony was the only one that saw what would happen is chilling
This is a great edit
That hurt Steve more than any blow Thanos or his army gave him. 😢
Greats music choice for thus clip, really drives home the emotions.
Great edit 🔥
Thanks 🙏
Captain America was in the right. Freedom isn't free. "Those who give up liberty for security deserve neither." It really is just that simple.
Bill hicks and George Carlin would agree haha.
Yea that part hurt
“We’d lose”
“Then we do that together too”
AND YOU WERENT THERE!!!!!
its like dam
Chris and rob deserved an oscar for endgame
Tony's narcissism thinking that Steve lost nothing is so messed up.
Steve raised absolute hell way worse than iron man lol
He never said that? Putting words in someone’s mouth is a taciturn tactic of a TRUE narcissist
He didn't even say that
If Tony never signed that stupid document they all would have been together stupid argument
If cap signed the document they could’ve been together
It wasn't the fact that they lost. It was his friend breaking his promise and leaving him to lose alone that broke his trust... and his heart..
how the fuck does he think cap could've been there on a fucking distant planet with him , it was all along tony's fault
It was heartbreaking how fallen apart our heroes were
And I mean, Tony is right though cap said we would lose together and he wasn’t there
Yeah, Cap could say that about Tony too, he wasn't on Wakanda with everyone. The difference, in this scene Cap is not emotionally compromised
@@sleepymonkey6752He is.
Steve gave him a phone to call him. Tony never did.
@@Deangirl86 He did, Steve just couldn't pick up.
@@Xominus Wut ? where that come from ? If he has already called him, why he hesitated when Banner tell him to do the call ?
