Buying the Iwire dual radium pump wiring kit made everything plug and play. It’s well worth the money. Oh and get the pressure switch, will kick on the second pump at whatever level of boost you need it at.
I have the same fuel system as u on my evo maxxed out right over 500whp on a mustang dyno single hardwired walbro 450 and id1300s I got id2000s going in with a hardwired Walbro 525 for all the boost
I'm all for squeezing that little performance if I can. By watching his channel I can tell he does the same. The 3.5" kit should be fine but 4" is only 100 more for a little more room without any negative effects.
Great numbers. It's gonna be fun regardless. I've always used one o-ring without issues on the pump outlet. Never, ever used two. Both on my previous DW65c and current AEM 340lph.
Thanks bro...Exited to see the new part. My pump ran just fine with one o-ring. It was only an issue when trying to flow enough for 400 whp in the upper RPM range.
@@CarsWithJR Thanks! Yeah I'm test fitting it soon. Been so busy at work that I come home super tired to do anything car related. Your car is definitely rev-happy with those heads. Can't wait to see the car make proper power after the Radium goodies are installed.
Not sure how it is on the STI bucket but on the WRX (you probably remember) I think your suspicion is correct, only having 1 o-ring causes the pump to not really be flush and definitely messes with the pressure...hope this sorts all your stuff in the future man!
Love the build but it’s crazy on the amount of money you put into it for what you got. I had a fbo wrx on e85 and made 400 wheel. Sold it got a type r and am making 400 wheel on 93. It’s weird how much money you have to put into the flat 4 to make the power you want.
The STI and Type-R are decades apart in technology. This set-up can easily make over 400 on pump gas (we don't have 93 here) and make 700 whp with just a fuel and turbo upgrade on E85. If you look at the whole dyno and not just peak numbers, this set-up makes over 400whp from 4500 rpm to redline. My old 400 whp WRX only made that power at peak.
Nice brother. That Radium kit will definitely help with more fuel flowing. I went with the Visconti kit with the 525 HellCat pump, SouthBay 1650cc injectors and made 507/489 @26psi with my FP Green setup on a Mustang Dyno. Car rips on the street and usually around 29-30psi so I would assume close to 540-550. Love the content brother.
you can usually get hellcat 525s cheap, and thatll get you over 650 easy with e67 id 1700s and maybe some head work, the 525s are a good option as well as dual 450s in a radium hangar, i wanna go to a fuel cell surge tank before i go to dual 525s
Hey man I always watch your vids and I rlly need some advice that I’ve been stressed out for I’m going full bolt on soon on E85 I have all the parts just not installed yet but maybe less than a year from now I’m definitely getting a fp black and i had a few questions and I figured you’d be the best guy to ask 1 do you think I should buy a iag block like maybe stage 2 or 3 or should I stay with the stock block and just get forged pistons and stuff I’m shooting for 500 to 600 whp 2 is 600 whp possible with a fp black?
I’ve been looking into getting a FP black turbo for my wrx I have a built motor rated for 600hp What are your thoughts on the turbo And any suggestions for parts I should invest in? Thank you brotha
TBH, I would go with a rotated kit if I were to do it all over again. A rotated kit is more efficient with less fitment issues and allows for more turbo options in the future.
Have a gud day everyone
Absolutely love how this is coming out!!!
Thanks man!
Can't wait until you get the better fuel system. Your car is awesome and 450 will feel amazing. Do you have a link to the head unit
6:16 is such a beautiful angle.
Hell yeah, please do a video on the wiring of the dual fuel pumps. I’m looking to get them but I’m scared of wires 😂
Bader built has a full vid on installing a double fuel pump fuel system on his channel FYI
I feel your pain. I'm also not good with wiring and stuff and I plan to get the Radium Engineering Dual Pumps for my 2019 WRX. 😂
trollbunny does he really? I saw one on the install of the pump and fuel lines but I couldn’t find one for the actual wiring
@@isaiasrivera1791 oh true he never did the wiring shoot. In that case I need a wiring video also 🤣

I got 1300cc inj and a single hard wired walbro 450. Made 510whp mustang and still had room. Idk why you need dual pump unless you wanna push over 550
Eventually. I got the double pumper for a reason. ;)

Definitely ETS 4", I'm at 580 whp with 1700cc but I have the dual 450s that you are waiting for.
Zero 7hree what good will it do I have 3.5 Inch should I go 4’5 inch and why?

Yeah, the 4" is a great value for only a little more and the optional crash beam still fits.
@@CarsWithJR No modification to the bumper right? For the crash bar, wish it was included
Epic Subie love the STI boss, Can you run down the build cost to make this car
hit those numbers I want to do a similar set up
Awesome power. Crazy to think what it will make in the future. Give it a few more years and I feel like the fa wrx will be right there with the ejs
I hope so. The STI needs an updated platform that is more tunable. The fuel system is ancient and the EJ requires a lot of fuel to make power.
@@CarsWithJR Like a lot of old cars tho haha run like 2000cc injectors. Dumping fuel

Yeah, I think using 2 o-rings allows for better suction of fuel.
Nice... are you on stock heads? I ask bc i am in the process of an engine build and looking to make 500whp also.
BC 272 cams.
Make sure u buy big fuel system double pumper or walbro525 and 1700cc injectors to make ur 500whp goal

Subarus are a waste of money. My STOCK Long block 03 cobra made 800whp with just a fuel system and a 4500 dollar 2.9 whipple supercharger on e85.

Do you know if Bader does builds on WRXs too or just STIs?
I would send him an email for inquiries. Highly recommended.

Yes, Tomei!
what about the visconti tunining hanger with a hellcat pump? its way cheaper than the radium setup?

Journal bearing.
Curious, what is your current MPG for city and highway now after the mods?
No change at all that I can tell.
