Hstudio3.0, you went above and beyond with this video! I am both in awe and humbled by all the amazing reactions to the video! Excellent job on creating this.
@@hammersheels3312 that’s really great to hear, thanks. The 265s are reviewed really well and I wouldn’t exactly call myself a connoisseur. I can really only tell the difference when comparing side by side. My dilemma has been whether going to - say a Martin Logan speaker - was truly worth an additional 200 or more/speaker! I feel like this real world review helps. Did you have a build thread on AVS?
Glad to see in this episode that there is also a woman who is passionate about the home cinema that it's not just a guy's business I salute you Jennifer .
Great room Jennifer! Love to see women involved in home theater (and video games). My theater was episode 29 I believe, so I truly know the addiction here. It's a fun hobby and I love what you built here. Your passion for this really shows.
This downtown home cinema is just INCREDIBLE!!! Just appreciating the cinema room alone. The wall column/sconces really enhances the beautiful & elegant gold/blue color theme of the room (absolutely love it). Jennifer also, made great choices on her seating as well as the gear. Those powered seatcraft recliners with the wood grain arm columns look great. The combination of Denon/Polk can definitely make a river dance, and the image produced by the JVC along with the ALR screen can make your eyes open wide🤩. But the true visual experience is right down town. Man-O-Man Jennifer bodied personalization and buried it in her garage 😂. The town looks spectacular!!!! Walking past the stores as you approach the theater is just plain awesome 😎😎. The theater entrance/lobby is insane! From the ticket booth, to that great looking hand built reel table (outstanding job Jennifer), to the nostalgic & oh so amazing concession stand area (work of art). Jennifer, you’ve done a masterful job with your cinema space. You really pushed the envelope on creativity and design. The ending result is nothing short of mind blowing👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏. Mister, Mr Sarkis went walking down the block… Out jumps a dream and he started shooting scenes…. Pulls up and share with us all the things he seen…. Then Mister, Mr Sarkis went up the block again…. On to episode #33…. Phenomenal job my dear friend👏👏👏🤜🤛🤩🤩😂
Haha damn...im blown away by the commentary just as much as this theater. Mate you should consider becoming a script writter honestly..( i could use one ) haha definately have not looked back from day one to where things are now..but its all thanks to awesome friends, family and my fans that keep supporting this journey. Thank you for the kind words again and again my friend. God Bless 😁🙏🍻
Thank you for all the wonderful comments. I wanted people to feel as if they truly stepped back in time. The fully immerse experience just adds to the movie watching experience. Music plays as you enter the theater lobby. All movie theme songs of course. I even added in a popcorn scented wall plug-in. All 5 senses are awakened when you step inside!
@@hammersheels3312 If I can feel the vibes through your awesome showcase then, there is absolutely no doubt that being there in person is a true time traveling experience🤩. You went 4-D all the way! Not gonna lie, I fire up my popcorn machine every movie day to enhance the movie experience😁😁😁. Awesome job Jennifer👍👍
What a room! Alot of thought and effort was clearly put into getting this all right! Very nice decor touches throughout the room..what a setup! Great video too sarkis!
Honestly I know there are a ton of amazing AV TH-cam Content Creators out there, so I don't say this lightly, but the intros to these videos are the best on TH-cam. I said it. Prove me wrong. It is honestly like a movie trailer. Suspenseful with dramatic video and audio to match. Gets me so hyped to watch the rest of the video.
Thank you so much mate, truly means alot and am wowed by being the 'best'. Your constant support is whats driving to keep getting better and produce fun, entertaining but professional content. 🍻🙏 #greatfull
Thanks for watching and glad you enjoyed it. Unfortunately 'ft' is the more common measurement used. But if you like converted to meters..just type it in google. 👌😀
When someone really goes to town on the aesthetics of their HT like Jennifer has I tend to be even more interested in seeing that than the tech stuff personally. Very nice HT & great video.
What can I say, great editing as usual “Z”. She has great taste, Polk!!!! Love it. If I had the cash, a room I would build as well. And to top it off, a motorized drop down tv??!!!!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
@@hammersheels3312 I agree you should consider curtains, maybe the same color as your walls so they will blend in. I would think if you had gold curtains which would match your trim, it would be a distraction as your watching a movie.
Great set up! I use this type of wall plate for wiring. You may try them in places where you have wiring for speakers and other appliances in your theater. Buyer’s Point Single Gang Recessed Low Voltage Cable Wall Plate for Home Theater (2 Pack)
Thanks for watching. The reason I went with the screen was because I had it from my previous theaterroom. At $4000, I felt it was a smart choice to keep it rather then buy a new one..🙂
Speakers that aren’t active don’t produce any watts. Their wattage is just a suggested rating from the manufacturer. Just semantics yes, but fairly important to explain correctly. Great video. Thanks.
This is amazing. Love the town idea, kinda reminds me of Movie World theme park. Imagine the awesome Halloween parties! Just wondering is there a room above the garage? I would love to convert our carport but try convincing my hubby of that 😏
Thank you for the kind words Jaylu, definately can picture awesome hangouts and parties for sure! Jennifer would be best to answer this question - stay tuned 👌🙏🍻
Thank you! Yes, my kitchen and master suite are above the Town/Theater. This lower garage was an added bonus since the home has an additional 2.5 garage at street level.
@@hammersheels3312 We have a kids bedroom on top of our garage so I wondered how much soundproofing would be required as the bedroom has laminate boards no carpet. We are currently using a downstairs spare bedroom as a dedicated theatre room but it's on the smaller side so I'm looking at options. Might have to convert the shed. 🤔 Not sure where my hubby will keep his tools lol!
If youd like start from scratch its definately doable but with a high cost of instalation, double sheeting walls with green glue and most of all decouple the framework from the rest of the house which maybe will need some steel beams to support the upper floor etc..🙂
Beautiful room! Aesthetic design is flawless. Just sad to see all these great designs have such poor implantation of audio when better wouldn't have cost much different. Those surrounds are mounted too high for Atmos. If the ceiling was higher or, this would have been free, lowered to ear height as recommended. A small increase in cost but well worth it would have been acoustically transparent screen. Would have made a huge improvement of sound, probably look nicer, and could have allowed room for bigger screen.
The design is amazing, but I never understand these rooms that look amazing with so much detail and high end specs, then zero sound treatment. People are missing out on so much audio detail by not using very simple and fairly cheap techniques to stop room reflections and bass nulls. These can be incorporated into the look and feel of the design fairly easily. It’s like buying an 8k tv then only using it to play VHS tapes on.
Have to agree but lets appreciate these awesome rooms, we all learn as we go and i myself have made mistakes so many times. Sometimes we also sacrifice a few things due to cost and time but at the end of the day if the room works for you, then there is no right or wrong. 👌🍻
Well said, Hstydio3.0. We all learn as you go and everything can be added in later. This rooms sound is already incredible, but will become better with time. As an interior designer I always say; " A room is never truly "finished". 😉
