- If you bought a blow dryer recently you probably noticed it has an ION button.
But most people (even stylists) don't know what it does or what setting it should be on.
Here's a quick video explaining everything.
So, because of you… I just bought a Harry Josh Hair Dryer. I had the Dyson Supersonic for 6 years, nothing is wrong with it, but noticed my hair looks and feel more course. I use all the other hair products you have suggested over the years, and realized its my dryer. Just ordered the Harry Josh, so it will be shipped in a couple of days.
Please let us (me!) know how that works for you! I have the Dyson as well and am considering switching to the Harry Josh as well. 🙂
@dazzfire-rhiannon1899 I have used the Harry Josh Hair Dryer several times, and it changed my life. ✨The Dyson like I stated made my hair course after blow drying, and now with the Harry Josh dryer, my hair is so much more softer. 💕 I use the Ion option. When I flat iron my hair, it looks like I went to the salon. 😊

@Blowoutprofessor - VIDEO REQUEST: Can you show an actual person with dry ends, when i wash my hair it's silky smooth, when i wake up, the ends are dry and like a web. Should we spray it with water? oil? Can you do a video on this? And then there are flyaways all over. Thank you! Love your videos!
I have the same problem
It could be your sheets! A lot of times when you go to bed if you have cotton sheets it tends to dry out your hair! I had the same exact issue until I started sleeping on silk sheets! Also, make sure you use leave in conditioner after you get out of the shower! It’ll lock in that moisture so your hair doesn’t dry out!
I’ve never seen the button you mentioned on any of my hair dryers, even expensive? I’m so confused? My hair thin, fine, blond dries in 5 minutes? What do I want negative or positive ion’s. Any hairdryer’s recommend, other than Harry Josh?

Look up the Velecta Iconic 1.7i and 2.0i. Those are pretty much identical (same manufacturer) to the Harry Josh Pro and ultra light, sell in europe and are cheaper too..

We don’t have the Harry josh hair dryer in australia, can you recommend something else? Also hard to find the pro nano titanium straightener here. Years ago I bought a titanium straightener but it wasn’t that good! And too thin. Any recommendations?

I have very fine, thin, straight and thinning hair and I read somewhere that the ion's actually make your have less volume when you blow dry your hair so I should use a blow dryer without that, Is that true? I need as much volume as I can get.
They don't sell Harry Josh in my country. Any other brand you recommend? I have an Elchim 3900 Healthy Ionic Dryer (2400w.) It does not have a ION button but I guess the ionic setting is always on.
Would this still apply for fine hair?

I really want this dryer, actually I need a new dryer for the salon desperately, but I require a diffuser as I am Ouidad certified and it is a big part of what I do. Can anyone give me some input as to which universal diffuser will work? Thanks and I welcome any feedback.
I've had a Chi dryer (for years) that came with a diffuser. There is no brand on my diffuser, but it snugly fits the HJ ultra light. Good luck!
@@talainacummins275 Thanks for replying. I located a HJ diffuser on Ebay, and once I ordered it, I also ordered a dryer, both expected to arrive this weekend. It seems kind of silly the manufacturer does not address this.I'm really looking forward to using my new dryer. I've previously had a dyson, and it stopped working after 2 yrs. so this was about half the price.
