6 Stunning Thrift Flips for Resale | Using Fall Colors & IOD Products

- Hey Ya'll ☀️ In this video, I'll be giving a new life to 6 outdated thrift store finds, transforming them into beautiful treasures perfect for resale in my vendor booth. Each project is designed to coordinate with my fall displays, so we'll be using some fall colors to give everything a late summer, early fall vibe makeover. You'll see how I use IOD (Iron Orchid Designs) products to create stunning pieces that are sure to catch the eye of shoppers. :)

Bailey, so glad to know there is finally an IOD stockist near me in Goldsboro, NC. You sure have a good start on your Fall stocking of your booths with these lovely projects. I, too, am constantly on the lookout for the old,round or oval frames with the contour glass, but don’t have much luck with that. Lol. I just found your channel today and I’ve binge watched all. I subscribed and rang that old bell to watch all future videos. GCR is one of my favorite TH-cam channels to watch too. I was fortunate enough to fine a rather large old vintage plaster frame with the original bubble glass along the side of the road in a FREE pile. I made my husband stop the car and turn around for that one. I want to do the same with mine… but like so many other projects, I haven’t gotten to it yet.

I don't even know where to start! Every upcycle was better than the previous, but each one was fantastic. I can't decide on a favorite. The canisters and bread box are tied, but the "caddy"😉 is a close 2nd, and the mushrooms... I'm not even a fan of mushrooms but absolutely adored how you put it all together. Lastly, I thought it was funny you called yourself a 'messy crafter', me, too. My space is always chaotic, and my hands look like I used paint as lotion 😅 jk... but if you know, you know. My friend is an artist and has a framing shop. He showed me that using rubber cement makes the back of a framed piece look much more professional with the brown kraft paper. It creates a very flat smooth drum tight backing and is not lumpy. Use a craft knife to trace and cut the paper. Apply the rubber cement to th frames’ back then press the paper on the rubber cement. Then trim the edges within 1/8 to 1/4 inch. Ovals are a smidge trickier than straight lines for trimming where a straight edge can be used to guide the knife blade. Hope this helps. 😉

All your projects are awesome, I love each one of them but my favourite is the mushroom picture. It is stunning, everything about it I love, even the colour of the frame. Wish I could get the IOD transfers, moulds and paint inlays. Oh well maybe one day. They are a lot more expensive in Australia than they are in the USA, same with the Cricut machines. I will get one, one day. TFS your talent with all of us. I’m looking forward to more of your videos. I just wanted to say that your home looks amazing also. I just watched all your videos and for being new on TH-cam, you are doing a great job! Love all your creations. I also have been getting the DIY paint and I absolutely love it! I used an 8oz jar of Bohemian Blue and was able to paint several tiles and a large dining room table twice and I still had some left over. I used a spray bottle to thin the paint on the table like Debi suggests on her channel, the creator of DIY paint and it works great. I'd recommend everyone to try her paint and go check out her channel as well. Again great work on all your projects! I look forward to seeing what else you come up with in the future.
