I’ve always been curious about this bag. I was hesitant at $180 and with all the reviews stating that the zippers delaminate after a few months of use…but at $107, BF sale, I couldn’t pass it up. I understand wear and tear, but the AquaGuard zippers, although not the exact same as the Granville zippers, still look brand new, on my Mystery Ranch 2-Day, after three years of use. Other reviews mention discoloration at the folds / wear-points of the fabric. Hopefully, I don’t encounter either.
Thank you for watching and that’s awesome you were able to get it at that price! I haven’t run into any issues with the zippers or discoloration just yet but I’ll definitely be keeping an eye out
Thank you for watching! The material might make it a little tough for it to get truly flat so it might take up unecessary space but I think it could fit, I’ve also recently been filling bags like that with a packing cube and other items and placing into a larger travel bag that way which could work well for something like this one
The Granville in this video is of the older generation and uses a different backpanel to the current generation. I own a Brize 32 that uses the same AeroFoam backpanel as the current Granvilles and it doesn't damage my clothes (neither cotton t-shirts nor synthetic isolation jackets or rain jackets). I'm not sure about other reviewers but I can imagine that they wore Merino wool which gets damaged very easily.
@@jnns7243 Thank you for the info! I just saw a customer review on Arc'teryx official website and one claims that it destroyed the back of his Atom LT Hoody. I hope they updated the material on that pack 🤘🏻
Always thought that bag looked way bigger than 16L. New thumbnails looking great!
Thank you for watching and for the support! Definitely surprised it isn’t listed at a higher volume with how much I was able to hold
The zippers are from Arcteryx. They use these since 99’. Hit or miss with these beauties

Hey Danny, if this bag was empty would it be small enough to reasonably pack at the back of a large size 40L ish travel backpack

@@dannypacks that's a good idea, thanks!
Hi Danny! Can you confirm the reviews that this back panel rips/destroys clothing over time?

Big fan of their hiking packs
Thank you for watching! Definitely enjoying my experience with this one so hope to check more of their bags out in the future!:)
I love everything about this bag but only the zippers. They’re so tough, hard to use and loud
Thank you for watching and that’s a fair point, the zippers can definitely take some getting used to
Doesn’t matter when stock is always sold out online
What it's the rain jacket that we see in the video ?
Thank you for watching! It’s from a brand called 33000 feet, I added a link in the description if you want to check it out :)
❤️🧡💛💚💙
Thank you for watching!:)
