- How to make a $1.36 Margarita vs a $4.82 Margarita.
I make two Magaritas, one as cheap as I can and one with more expensive ingredients. Then compare.
Cheap version
1.5 oz Jose Cuervo Especial Silver Tequila $0.85
1.5 oz Realime Juice $0.20
1 oz Mr. Stacks Triple Sec 60 Proof $0.31
TOTAL $1.36
Expensive version
1.5 oz Senor Rio Tequila Blanco $2.95
1.5 oz Fresh lime Juice $0.57
1 oz Cointreau $1.30
TOTAL $4.82 - บันเทิง
Its an ok video. But here's some things I'd do differently. 1. I would use as much lime juice. I typically see 3/4 to an 1 oz of lime juice. 2. I would have used the same orange liqueur, they aren’t that expensive in the first place. 3. Similar to the 2nd i would have also tried the lime from concentrate with the expensive tequila too and vice versa with the cheap tequila. I know that's a lotta margaritas lol but a better experiment to see if its truly the lime making the difference.
Thanks for the feedback. As for the ratio, I typically enjoy a sour/acidic drink. If you like yours more dry swapping some lime for more tequila is valid. Also since making this video I have decided that the tiny cost savings in bottled citrus juice is never worth it. And now I like to blind taste test to be further unbiased.
If the line juice in the bottle is not as good why do u use it🙆
It keeps for a very long time and is convenient to keep in thr fridge
If your best margarita is a 7, you're doing something wrong.
Or I'm picky and a margarita isn't the best drink in the world.
@@DrinkingWithTony Fair enough. I hope you have tried other ways to make one. IMO the traditional recipe is too heavy on the citrus, and Grand Marnier with agave syrup is the way to go....for me.
U know nothing about making that wonderful drink🙅
