@@zp3495 If you use loctite and a torq driver to specified in-lbs, I don't understand how they could back out. Are you just hand-tightening? I'm trying to decide if I want to buy this thing and most of the reviews seeing overwhelmingly positive, but I'd still like to get your input. Thanks.
Awesome overview. Not sure why they aren't marketing the fact that you can use regular suppressor sights with it. That sells it for me. I wasn't sure if I wanted to spend the extra money for it or not, but that little tid-bit settles it. Also, what back plate is that? It almost looks factory but it's got that werid notch
Great video. There aren’t many videos on the CHPWS plate. I just purchased 3 of these for an MOS 17, 19, and 45. I didn’t feel comfortable using the small allen wrench screws that mount the plate to the slide. I’ve used that size screw in other applications and they were a pain to remove without stripping. Therefore, I used to torx screws that come with the MOS plates - same size but easier to use with the torx head. I’m curious to see your update after 400-500 rounds to see if you have any issues with he RMR coming loose.
300 rounds with no issues at all. Also some cycling the slide on the table to see if everything stayed stable and no issues there either. Seems like a much better solution to the factory plates.
It comes with one set of screws to mount the plate to the slide. You get 2 sets of screws to mount the RMR to the plate About 1000 rounds now with no issues and has remained zeroed.
i have a holosun with the same ameriglo suppressor sights he has on a standard mos plate and its low 1/3 with the sight barely cutting the bottom of the green front, kinda like the stock gen 4 plastic sights so i think it will clear fully with this plate, hell ima buy one for mine since i damaged my mos plate...
I wound up get Ameriglo GL-429 which is .315/.394 to run with my Holosun 407c and CHPWS plate on my G17MOS. It’s perfect to me, but it’s definitely lower than a 1/3. It doesn’t make my window busy but is tall enough for me to easily shoot a qualification with the dot turned off. Be mindful, GL-429 is the completely blacked-out set which I purposely bought.
What is the actual height of the suppressor height sights you have? I have the Dawson precision MOS sight set at .390 rear and it seems way taller then it needs to be
I got a rival arms G34 slide recently bought a HoloSun "rmr" mount dot. The screw holes dont like up even though it says rmr ready slide. Im assuming they gave me a MOS cut.. MOS is closer together correct compared to rmr
@@MrOhman86 Yes. Much improved design, in my opinion. It sandwiches the rmr between two fences. You can litterally hold the plate upside down without screws and and it holds tight. CH uses their front fence to push back against the Glock's cutout in the slide. I personally like steel to steel contact. I do not like aluminum, since it can strip especially if using 6ooo series aluminum instead of the better 7000 series if you have to use aluminum. The CH bosses (sleeves that the rmr screws fit in are thin, since they have to fit in the rmr holes, hence thinner screws). Another manufacturer, Primary Machine has also commented on the material used and the bosses. Overall fit/finish of the FCD's plate is better, again my opinion, but it's MY MONEY. They took awhile to come out to make sure it was done right. Not rushed to market, hence version 1 not 4. It's a personal decision and for me, I prefer FCD's OPF-G, RMR plate. I love free market economy, it allows new designs to come out and the market decides.
Andrew Do WOW! Thanks for the update and info sir. My colleague said the SAME thing about aluminum to metal contact. That makes a lot of sense the way you put it. Only thing is does this company have a version for the holosuns? I only saw the RMR version and they said “However, due to the precise fit of the front and rear recoil lugs/fences that are designed to closely sandwich the sight, OPF-G, RMR is incompatible with Holosun sights. OPF-G, H will be available as a separate product.” So I’ll continue to keep any eye out till then. Thanks again and stay safe!
MrOhman86 FCD's next plate will be for the Holosuns. FCD's tolerances are very tight, so the current RMR plate will not fit, since they are not the same footprint if held to higher standard. You could relax the standard, but they are not the same dimensions. As a footnote, I'm in no way connected or being paid by FCD. Just a guy who wants to point out a better plate design for those looking for a better design than OEM.
Andrew Do oh yeah man I understand. I called FCD and they said the same thing Holosuns “could” fit but they wouldn’t recommend it. I don’t have even have a red dot yet just wanted to the best option and the moat up to date info
Attention! This is an old video and current viewers may benefit from this information: in the last couple years the quality control at C&H has taken a massive decline resulting in parts being delivered way out of spec. Don't use their plates.
Buck Holly and crew do a GREAT job on making the plates.
I'm glad to hear you had good luck with this. I have had nothing but issues with it. Screws wouldn't stay set, getting stripped heads, etc.
TheKalkara131 my screws backed out after a couple mags..... tried talking to CHP about it and they didn’t give two fucks about helping me.

@@thehifiguy945 did you get one
Thank you for the good review! Grtz from belgium
Hi! thank you for the video! Can you tell me which iron sights were you running with it?
hey man do you see the extractor if you look into that right screw hole on the slide?

The back plate is a striker control device made by TAU DEV
It is also known as the Glock gadget

There is a version SRO for Glock 43xMOS??
Do you know how much these plates weigh? I know the OEM mos weighs around 21.8grams
Can I get a plate for my non MOS rmr cut slide to mount a vortex/Bushnell footprint optic on?
Hard to find gun now! Enjoy the 19 gen 4!!
Will those Glock plates work on a Gen 5?
Does CHPWS v3 come with two different screws to mount onto the slide and to mount the RMR? How is it holding up? Any updates on the plate?

Does this fit the Holoson 407k that you know of ?
Yes
So, are you saying that .315/.394 suppressor sights give a 1/3 co-witness with RMR/Holosun mounted on an MOS with this plate?
Thanks.
I have not tried a Holosun with this plate

If you want the best 1/3 co witness with CHPWS plate try using the 2XL sights from ameriglo
But if you’re using the MOS plate then use the 3XL sights

be cool if c&w made a plate for glock 48 mos gen 5 to a holosun 509t
only thing I dont like is those small screws screwing into aluminum.. It screams stripped threads, or threads getting worn and screws coming loose..
What is the actual height of the suppressor height sights you have? I have the Dawson precision MOS sight set at .390 rear and it seems way taller then it needs to be
Here you go
315" front and black .394" rear
I guess these are standard height suppressor sights if there is such a thing as standard lol

There's a much better plate system out there now in steel versus CH's aluminum.......Forward Control Design's OPF-G, RMR.
Andrew Do my colleague said something about them. Do you have experience with it?
