Great tutorial!! I LOVE this pattern, and I have a few layer cakes waiting to be made into a stunning quilt (this IS the pattern I'll be using). Many thanks, itching to get started! Lindsay, Sacramento
Started making this one today with AG Road Trip and Grunge Onyx. TY I'm loving this pattern! PS I like that you offer printed and PDF. I usually prefer printed, I guess I"m old school :)
My goal for 2021 is to make a quilt. I absolutely love this pattern and your tutorials are so easy to follow! Also, Kaffe is my fav! I’m so excited to get quilting 😊
If you were going to make a baby quilt what size would you make for this pattern? I wanted to make this for a baby quilt for my goddaughter’s baby, who will be here in November.
What I learned in another tutorial is to first fingerpress a seam and thén hit it with the iron. That way there will be no pleads and you don't distort the fabric.
A scant quarter inch seam is where you sew just a little shy of a quarter inch when you want to make sure you have a little wiggle room. I use it whenever I make triangles. But I switch back to regular quarter inch when sewing my strips together
Was looking for a layer cake pattern to do with my Kaffe prints. I particularly love the hot pink “neutral”. LOL.
Excellent pinning tips,thx
Glad you like them!
love it! and the background fabric is gorgeous.
Thanks so much!

Thank you for the pinning tips! I don’t always pin. There are times when I feel the need to pin and your tips are very helpful.
I am glad you found the tips helpful!

Gorgeous quilt!
Thank you!
If you were making this for someone who didn’t care for pink so much as a background, which other color would YOU use? Great tutorial!
something that will still let the pattern of the quilt pop! maybe a mint green or nice orange!
Such great advice and tips ✂️✂️😘
Thanks!
I think Jenny Doan did a free tutorial on this block five years ago. It’s called Grand Adventures.
It's a little different, but yes, it is similar.
Loved your lesson. Thank you!
You’re welcome!
Loved it, I am going to use my Kentucky traveler layer cake for this pattern
Thank you, like this!
Which Baby Lock do you have?
Great pattern!
Thanks! This one is not made anymore, but I am getting one of the new models they just released!
@@QuiltAddictsAnonymous which model?
Do you think you could do this with jelly roll strips??
The way that it's written will not work for jelly roll strips.
@@QuiltAddictsAnonymous bummer I have a beautiful jelly roll set I was gifted that would be dazzling in this pattern.
Very pretty.
Thank you!
omg i love it
Thanks!
Do you have a video on sewing triangle he I quilt? Thx
Sewing half square triangles or sewing a specific triangle quilt?

Should you prewash the fabric ?
You should never prewash precuts. There won’t be anything left.
I finger press all seams before pressing with the iron. I was taught to not press as she does.
Pressing opens gets you sharper points and flatter joins that are true to size.
Please can you say why after being told quarter inch quarter inch it's now a scant quarter what does that mean and why has it changed thank you
Scant quarter inch is implied 99% of the time. www.diaryofaquilter.com/2011/10/quilting-tip-scant-14-inch.html

Do you have an option to download this pattern rather than posting it as I’m in the uk and 33 dollars is a lot of postage?
We don’t right now, but we do send refunds if we are able to ship it for less.
Everytime I watch your videos it never looks like you're actually looking at the camera when you speak to us. Am I the only one who notices this?
