It's inspiring to see riding/racing like that. As a noob on the track it blows my mind to see you driving so hard out of the corners and the bike is still on rails. 🤯 Your commentary is a huge help as far as insight to what you're seeing and thinking as you progress through the race. I appreciate the great content. Keep yourself safe! 😃👍❤🏍 Randy
Rewatching some of barber races to get ready for GNF. This one was fun, but I wanna run it back now I got more time there. Hahah. Maybe next weekend? lol.
@@cheetah740 wouldnt being heavier lead to better traction thus better braking? 🤔 or being heavier outweighs the benefit of higher traction due to higher inertia?
I'd like to ask one question when you lean into a right-hand corner with your knee dragging what are you doing with the handle bars . What r u doing with the left handle bar and with the right
Pretty inspiring! I ride an Aprilia RS660 1/2 the time for track and appreciate the advise against the big bikes. Certainly makes you a better rider. Again, great content!
Good catch. It's just saying that cuz it's on race gas tune. My tuner has Low Power tuned for race gas meaning it's tuned a little richer and Full Power is tuned for pump. Both have unrestricted power.
Perfect track for an attempt at this! Would say that this layout is slightly favorable for a 600. You could probably find tracks where you have an advantage riding a 600. Cool video, great riding!
Thanks Andy! Always appreciate your support! I think pads and lever has a decent bit to do with it. Ill show you some tricks that have helped me along the way
Handling for sure! Zx6r has more power and mid range, but the r6 still wins in the handling department. There is a lot of chatter issues with the zx6r that really only shows up when you're at a certain fast pace and playing with geometry and spring rates is the only way to mitigate that issue. Also lack of autoblip with the zx6r.
I mean this is all good on a track where exp matter most but on the interstate you need that liter bike to go 190 to escape police, this chargers arent slow some of them hitting 160 np
Really surprising they weren't eating your lunch coming out of 5. Why do you think they were gapping you coming out of 2? Its downhill, seems like the 600 would have the turning advantage there.

Man thank you so much Randy! Comments like this make me want to keep posting! Really appreciate it!
@@cheetah740 😎👊
It is what it is, props to gentleman ripping on his 600cc.
Thank you!
Great vid!

I see you with those Gange on an R6 lines through 2-4 👀👀👀
Bad ass video!!!!
I only watched that video 100s of times lol. Thanks bro 🙏
Very nice racing and commentary!
Appreciate it! 💪🏼💯
this track is perfect
LOVE IT, KEEP IT UP BRO
What do you do in the off season to get/stay ready for next year?
I do a lot of weight training, cardio, grip/neck strengthening and obliques training. I think I'll make a video out of this!
Cheetah your the track vlogger I've been looking for. Good stuff
Thanks man, I need to get back to making some videos!
Super awesome seeing you compete with the 1000cc. I hope to one day have skills like you
Thank you bro! It's just seat time really, you can get there!
You should do more races with the 600 vs 1000 bikes haha
Lmao next year I'll def do a few!
Im new to motorcycle racing, when he said "600s are more nimble we rely on deep corner braking and corner speed" but why cant the 1000ccs do that too?
They are heavier due to the engine size mainly and other small stuff.
@@cheetah740 wouldnt being heavier lead to better traction thus better braking? 🤔 or being heavier outweighs the benefit of higher traction due to higher inertia?
@@hozi4798 Being heavier reduces max cornering speed. Big bike braking zones are also naturally longer because of the speed they carry.
@@Gameboii okay makes sense, thanks
Great video!!
Thank you sir!

Countersteering. So a little push on the right handlebar for a right corner. The opposite is more relaxed.
how you got your lap timer mounted? i got a key hole mount 3d printed, just curious how yours is mounted.

Yeah man I always steer people to the 600s first. It's easy to get lazy on the big bikes. Thanks for watching!
Good commentary and race footage!
How many years? From riding course to track? How much practice? I want to end up in races in the near future.
I've done this slowly over 8 years of track riding. I got into racing later so only been serious at it for 4 yrs.
Was that the open stock race?
It was the A Superbike Race. So anything goes basically.
why is it saying you are on Low power?

Yeah exactly. This track is a flowy track with few straights
Good stuff!!!
Good stuff buddy! You gonna keep the ZX6R for next year? ;)
Thanks man. Yessir I am!
You rode very well. Nice and smooth.
Thanks 👍
That was really awesome. Thoroughly enjoyed that. Guess I need a lesson from you on how to brake harder.

Great race bro! Now that you've got a ton of race time on the zx, what would be your biggest takeaways in terms of differences wrt the R6?

Impressive! You ain't have to do my man Jeff like that😅
Lmao that's my guy! Thanks bro
Bro, please don’t stop making these videos.
Thanks for the support bro! I'll def keep em coming! 💯
Enjoyed that 🎉
Thank you! 👌🏼
The Track Suited the 600 more than the 1000s.
But Interesting Race.
Racing 1000s is so much fun on my R6, except when I crash lol
Haha for sure

Just the way I was probably taking that corner. Different strengths vs weaknesses between riders and bikes
More laps and you'd be on the podium for sure.
LOL.....seems like Challenge accepted lol....good racing.
Challenge accepted 😆
Hahha. Good video and good race man.
Thanks bro! It was fun!
