Great, just to make your life tad easier, ctrl+b will make a bevel so you don't need to go up to all sorts of menus to spend time to find the edge loop tool. Nice tutorial but could have been less than half the duration? Thanks buddy.

dear Mr.mike .. i need your help with a situation ..
i need to fit a border of one object to a surface of other object .. the simplest way to sum that up is : imagine when you place the bottle cover .. to ensure the bottle is correctly closed, the border of the cover must fit perfectly to the bottle neck .. can i make this trick using
constraints ?
Why constraints ? Just model it and place it there
Plzz, Make a texturing part of this tire.

Hello Mike Sir please help me i tried to reply on your poll however you can only have 1 comment and hold down j snap 1
Hey,
really nice tutorial on how to make tractor tires.
Unfortunately there is one thing that really bugs me:
You haven't really solved the issue with the center part. The profile has to overlap there to make the tires run smoother on the road. There are no tyres that don't have the center part in some way - your tire would create the worst possible smoothness on the road.
Imho it isn't that big of a deal if you don't use that design in a somewhat realistic setting.
It just would have been really interesting how you would have solved that problem. (Cause it's more tricky then just rotating your edgeloops.)
Anyways, thanks for your great tutorials! :)
Very good point and I am always grateful when I receive constructive advice. I am not a tractor guy ( as you might have figured out ) but this does shed a new light on things :-)
Hello mr. Hermes, i tried to reply on your poll however you can only have 1 comment / poll post. To answer your question, i would appreciate if you could cover shaders or lighting more. Thank you
Thanks Michael
The poly count you have in this tyre Is alright for game?
Daksh The King games can handle more polys than you think it depends on what platform you choose, you may want to bake normal maps and have low poly mesh for better perfomance
Alex C i sometimes really get confused, that's why I m just try to gain info, where normal maps can be baked or where you won't need them.
I'd personally bake it to low res mesh for a game. There should not be a problem with one wheel but if you wanna create a bigger game with more assets (or more wheels) I would lower it. (Bump and normal maps are great to fake a bevel).
You can paint texture in zbrush add detail using texture brush export texture map to Maya. Again go back on zbrush than add details by sub dividing your low poly model, export the sculpted details using normal map. This will give you high quality detail in your low poly model.
Mike sir Please help me sir I am getting rendering in maya it is not working render because warning file
What is the warning ?
Where is texturing ????
Also creat a videos on UVs
