These are short clips of Mitch Laurence's infamous return to OLTL in 2003, saying that he fathered Jessica Buchanan. It was crazy. I had never heard of Mitch then, and had only just started watching OLTL the year before. Now that I am more learned in the history of Mitch, I can say that part of me wishes they never came up with this story at all. Even though I still enjoy his 2002/2003 run, man it could have been executed a LOT better than it was.
The clips may not be in order, but it's only a minor inperfection I think. If you guys would like me to reorder a couple clips, just let me know.
PLEASE NOTE: These are all the clips I've got, and I found them on the internet a while back. I am uploading them because someone requested it :) I don't have any more. Yet anyway. I will soon start trying to find some old clips like this, particularly of Mitch Laurence. But as of right now, I have nothing else.

Rest In Peace Roscoe, I'm so sad that you felt you had to go this way, but I hope that you are at peace now. Mitch was and will always be my favorite!! You were one of the best actors in soaps and very talented. Rest easy..

Roscoe Born is the ultimate bad boy. He has been a villian on several soaps. No one does it better.
I know! I hope he stays too. I'm so pleased that he's back and in everybody's face... when I see those promos with him and Jessica and shes like "Why arn't you dead?!!" I just go muhahahaaaaa

You know, I don't really know that myself. I don't remember them giving an exact reason; I think that Mitch was just obsessed with taking everything Viki had, and getting so-called "revenge" for what he percived Viki "did to him" and all that. I think he wanted a child, and I guess maybe he chose Viki because he wanted to hurt her and cement himself in her family.
I feel like it started out as wanting her money then snowballed into a obsession with her, and this warped sense of entitlement.
Mitch is the best villian ever. He is so badass and intellegent. I am glad he is back in the show
great clip! love Born & Torpey. and yeah, call me twisted. i like them being father & daughter. Viki's such a complex character - so nice & upper crust but with (& without) the alters, she's drawn bizzarely to men like Mitch & her brother Todd. love it!
I SO remember this scene from seven/eight years ago.

He is easily the best villain on soap together with Cesar Faison, Helena Cassadine and Jerry Jax. I do also enjoy Allison Parker and her character design. She has that apperance of an innocent and girlike angel but can be violentily crazy and deadly but also very calculating.
I sure hope it is. There has been news that he was coming back in spring, then summer, and now november.
I have read that he's already filmed scenes. We will never really know until we see it for ourselves tho. :/
I am a huge Mitch fan ^^ however I agree, they should make her a Buch again. If it was easy enough to change 20 something years of history, it shouldn't be that hard to reverse it back, seriously :/

Yeah, that too. He really believed he had all this power, and that he was above others. He really seemed to think he was actually some kind of preacher later on too, as opposed to just pretending it

@devane85 You know I kind of agree with that. Natalie is tiring. And this whole thing now with Brody blah blah...I kinda think it would have been more interesting to have Natalie come on the show as Mitch's daughter instead of Viki's.

Roscoe was great and sufficiently creepy as Mitch but more than eight years later and I still HATE the retcon that Viki had twins unknowingly and that Gnat is the Buchanan heiress. I still wish that before the show goes off the air (network tv at least) that the writers will fix that and make Jessica Clint's biological daughter.
That's actually a really good explanation of the situation, in my opinion. I would like to add that I think Mitch had / has (who knows on soaps?) a sort of God complex.
I would rather say he has a messiah complex because he thinks he is close to god.

How did Mitch know which twin was his? Did they have paternity tests back then?
Ryan Eng He had a test done, if I remember correctly. Dr Balsom told him that Jessica was his. I think they retconned that a little bit in later story lines though, saying instead that Alison told him the news. I don't have the next scene, but he does give Viki a strand of his hair so that she could have a test done present day.

she did, but she and a friend got together and arranged for someone else to impregnant her, and is trying to pass this baby off as Rex's
