In this video, I dive deep into the world of JDM sleepers with my latest project car, a 2004 Subaru Legacy Wagon with a EJ20X Turbo Boxer engine. I took a gamble on this car, buying it without knowing the true condition of the engine. The previous owner warned me about heavy smoke due to a failing turbo, but that was just the tip of the iceberg.

This 2004 Subaru Legacy Wagon is a true JDM gem, or at least it will be once we sort out its issues. The EJ20X engine is known for its performance and reliability compared to its USDM and Canadian counterparts. However, like any used car, it comes with its own set of challenges.
