Bill Skarsgard was in a terrible but admittedly guilty pleasure fun show called Hemlock Grove where he played a modern teenage Dracula (high school drama where several of the students are classic movie monsters. He as the wealthy vampire was best friends/arch rivals with a poor werewolf...in case you're wondering about the tone he makes up with wolfman by having them have a threesome with their mutal love interest, giving fanfic writers nothing to do). I loved all three Eggers films so far so I think it should be good, even if Bill and Lily are admittedly not the calibre of his usual stars
no they were not. There were not a one meaningful or thoughtful decision taken by the characters in those movies. Except creating a thrilling atmosphere, these 2 movies failed on every count; pilot, dialog, acting, action scenes, sound design. they were ok for vampire movies i spose. but as a 'movie'... they were lazy and idiotic

@@TheInzane1998 It drove me nuts when the NPC changed the entire 2nd act with trash exposition, the inconsistent mom arc was hilariously bad, and the fact that this small village turned into a video game with an inconsistent number of villagers was cringe - I couldn't stand that my mom and brother predicted the dialogue and the direction of multiple plot points especially the 3rd Act that shit stung - having said that IT was a beautiful film - especially the Nordic dream sequences they were literally paintings - but the writing, arcs, and plot points were meh. I probably just set my hopes to high

Dracula 2020 and Voyage of the Demeter were honestly pretty good and they cane out very recently, keen to see nosferatu though
