He scores the quick bucket to bring them back into the game at 85-86.
He steals the ball from Malone and then practically by himself brought the Bulls back into the lead and winning the chip by a pull up jumpshot. 87-86
I don’t think there’s any better example of MJ’s overall game and dominance than those last 3 plays.

dont forget the Free throws by MJ at the beginning of the video. score 83-81. Jazz lead.
MJ ties it with 2 cruicial FT before Stockton hit 3.
Last 6 pts in a game where winning score is in mid-80s. Just think about it.
MJ scores 45 of 87 pts. last 6 pts coming in final 59 secs.

    • @KoolKeithProductions
      @KoolKeithProductions ปีที่แล้ว +6

@@mkhan8527 I also think it's important to note that the JAZZ ran the same play back to back, and it led to their downfall. The 1st time they doubled Malone with Pippen from the left side and he found Stockton open for 3. The 2nd time MJ learned from the previous play and came around the right side while Malone was looking over his left shoulder, no doubt expecting Pippen to help again. He was wrong lol

Most underrated part of this sequence is that Russell actually swatted the ball in the layup drive but Jordan still finished the play. You can see at 3:00. It's one of those big athletic advantages Jordan had that goes under the radar for a lot of casual fans.

    • @AstroPatel

That's actually insane. You can see the ball move and rotate. But his huge hands and grip strength keep it in possession while he still finishes the lay. A high layup off the glass and nothing but net too.

The last shot Michael Jordan took as a Chicago Bull was a swish, didnt touch the rim. Loved it, and honestly at the time I knew he would make it as soon as I saw the crossover. That was MJ, the crucial times a basket is needed or the last few seconds of play, he would make it virtually every time.

The moment MJ shot his iconic last shot for the Bulls and the moment the final buzzer rang and the Bulls got their second three-peat, I didn't celebrate in jubilation just like I know the rest of the Bulls fandom did. Instead, I just sat there on my chair crying silently because I knew then that this was the end of an era. Rodman wanted to call for time when Michael went for the steal but Phil knew he couldn’t stop Mike . He was in the zone

Lmao 0:28 Rodman talking to the ref and completely ignoring the free throw/rebound because he knows Jordan doesn't miss in crunch time.

When a player makes the heart stop of everyone watching the game, when commentators call him Magnificent without any agenda, there is no doubt in my mind who the GOAT is.

They played the jazz two times in the final he never cheated on their down screen for Malone and stole the ball. He held that move until the last possible play. That's some big brother little brother stuff right there.

ESPN aired the full game using footage from the last dance that was shot using film cameras, I found this clip and was able to upscale it to 4K hdr

Just after The Last Dance aired, they also aired "Game 6 The Movie" - which is what this is from.

everyone talks about the shot, or the steal. my favorite part though is Jordan running back after the shot with the Jazz fans in the background clutching their heads in despair... they knew it was over lmao
