Kimberly your videos are excellent. I have been quilting for a few years and I have always had troubles using the binding tool and then the corners when adding the binding. I have taken quilting classes and no one has explained putting on binding and how to use the tools like you have in this video. You are an excellent teacher and you put up these excellent videos for free. Your generosity is amazing Please keep making your videos and when you decide to have a quilting retreat put my name first on the list to attend. Thank you

This is a fantastic video! I just did the binding on a baby quilt. I took my tablet and turned the video off and on as I completed each step. Your photography is fantastic. I really could see what you are doing! Thank you

The best binding video I have seen, I watched several to try to use the binding too. You explained it so well and slow enough to follow how to do both sides. I liked the left side is line to line. A great reminder. Thanks so much

Great job Kimberly, I will bookmark this video when I next need to attach a binding using the binding tool that I bought & NEVER used, lol! I am new to quilting (1.5 years) & have a friend who sits with me & does my corners & the final stage. I need to put my BIG girl pants on a do it myself since I am getting ready to make about 12 placemats & table runner SO, I have MANY bindings to attach! Your video came @ a perfect time!! Wish me luck!! BTW, you are adorable!!

Kimberly, you made hand-sewing a binding less intimidating. I love the way you work with such a neat work space with such clear and precise explanations. I never saw this Binding Tool before. That was an ingenious use of a bias strip maker to make a double fold binding. Thanks for the encouragement! I'm sure I'll be watching this video over and over until I get my binding almost as perfect as yours. -Michael

I have had this binding tool for months but never used it. Decided to try it after watching this tutorial and I must admit it was actually a pleasant experience attaching the ends rather than getting aggravated and frustrated. If attaching the ends of your binding is confusing please get this tool and watch Kim’s tutorial on how to use it. You won’t be sorry!

This is a great video. I have had the binding tool for a few years but could never get the hang of using it. I also like your idea of leaving 3/8” batting and backing on the quilt. I have a quilt ready to bind and am looking forward to using the binding tool and your ideas . And of course Kimberly, I will have your video right next to my machine to guide me. Thank you!!!!

I just recently (this year) started quilting! Just bought a new BabyLock Unity and am learning to use it and learning to quilt also! I just bought the binding ruler you used and needed to learn to use that also. I have watched several quilt binding videos and yours is the best I've seen and the simplest and easiest to follow! Thank you for helping us beginners learn to make beautifully bound quilts! I just bound my first quilt and did not hand sew the binding and used the binding tool, but now see a couple mistakes I made! Your handling of the corners was SO HELPFUL! Thank you!

Oh my gosh, THE BEST binding video EVER!! And I've watched and read about a lot of them. Like many others the 3/8" batting tip will prove to be very helpful, I've been wondering why my bindings seem wimpy. I have the binding tool but Kimberly explained how to use so well, I definitely had a light bulb moment. I appreciate that she started at the very beginning and went to the very end with every step, most tutorials seem to chop things out assuming everyone knows what they've done in between. One video I'd love to see is how to square up a LARGE quilt, not just a small square. ;o) Thanks again for all of your great videos and tips. Keep them coming.

This looks so much cleaner than stitching in the ditch. I've done that a couple times and the back never really looks good and sometimes it didn't catch the binding and that was a pain. So, I'll be sitting in front of the TV working on the binding of my quilt. Thank you for the video.

Kimberly, thanks so much for the binding tutorial. I have the binding tool, but had some trouble getting it right, I think I kept mixing up my right & left sides! Your video was very clear & helpful, Also liked your technique of the extra batting/backing to fill up the binding, while still using a 1/4 inch seam on the front of the quilt, I have always liked a little wider binding, so was using a little wider seam than just 1/4 inch. But one time when I did that on a quilt with no borders, it messed up the front of the quilt with the wider seam, I hadn't thought about that!!! Thanks again for the great video!! Keep them coming!

This tutorial was the best especially on the blinding tool. It was thorough, clear and easy to follow instructions. I learn a few new tricks like ironing the blinding after it's seen on the quilt.

Thank you, Kimberly, for this excellent tutorial. I'm fairly new to quilting and adding binding has intimidated me. Your straight-forward and methodical method is the best I've seen. Thank you! All the best! Jane

I’m making the flash cards for my 4 year old granddaughter. I’m sure it the principle using the mini binding tool for small quilts. Love your tutorials. Great job

Thank you so much for this video! I have two quilts I made years ago, one 12 yrs, and one 2 years, that only need the binding attached, that I never finished because I was not quite sure how. Thank you. Now I can finish. Doing it right now! BTW, very clear instructions and videography superb.

Thanks for the great, and timely tutorial. I've had the Binding Tool for a while, but couldn't wrap my head around the instructions. Watching the tutorial as I went, I successfully used the Binding Tool to bind the little quilt I just finished. The only glitch came at the end when I was sewing the two ends together. Since my binding wasn't 2 1/2 " wide I had to adjust the way I drew the diagonal line and the notch. Even so it worked great!
