Hiking North & South Weeks for the New England Hundred Highest!

For my 82 & 83 summits of the NEHH, Joe and I are hiking North & South Weeks, two lightly traveled peaks in the Northern White Mountains. Although these mountains don't boast the great views of some others, they no doubt have their own special & unique features that make them memorable.

So many trees along that ridgeline were leveled from microbursts. I wonder if that’s the reason for all the ferns.

That could be. It’s a very unique feature
