This game was called “Lightening Force” in the US for some reason. I remember renting this game from Blockbuster and how hard it was, but I was impressed by the graphics and soundtrack.
this looks like an amazing capture from the genesis, lots of 60hz flickering that was recorded perfectly and plays back great on youtube. that is rare. I always loved this game even though I am so bad at it, thankfully it has a cheat code.

The Fire Leo 04 "Rynex" engine sound effect is one of the most satisfying and badass sound effect of all time.
