Volvo XC70 & custom MINI CAMPER - winter camping

- You know I love camping in my Volvo but with so good trailer it's more comfortable. Big traction battery, solar panels, 240V socket, washbasin, water tank, gas, heating and a lot of storage space.
This camper is made by my friend and I'm happy that we finally found some time with my wife for test it 😊
Absolutely no problem on snow with this ~600kg trailer thanks to AWD and new winter tires.

Honestly, if someone told me that this was an ad from Volvo themselves, I'd believe them. Excellent video, very cool setup!
Absolutely blown away by Slovakian natural beauty. Those mountains in the background reminds me of Grand Tetons in Wyoming.

You are right with the Grand Tetons, I didn't know them but I found some photos on web :D Now I live in pretty flat scenery so I like returning to these hills. Thanks and greetings to the USA ;)

I'm planning to convert a 3x1,5x1,5m cargo trailer with exactly the same kind of elevating roof (I already have some interesting sketchup views.... with an XC70 of course !)

Wow,such a nice footage.
I was going to bulid one camper trailer myself.From a normal platform,but modifying the standard platform dimensions into a taller one can be a hussle and a big problem with the mot.

Zdravím, jasné veľmi :) Nabehal som na ňom už cez 100k a teraz ťahá na 400k, drží sa super.

Dobrý deň, ďakujem pekne 🙂 Je to klasická D5 so 136kW, čiže jedno turbo. Mám ho ale čipnuté na 160kW a 480Nm a jazdí super.
