I do find with these new builds whether they're large 5 bed homes or 2-bed starter homes, they all have the same size fridge/freezer. Would be great if there was space in the utility for an additional top opening deep freezer
My favourite bits are “not another one! Another one?” And “this, oh this, no this, oh this!” I cant watch any other house tours unless it’s Elliot and Matt! The best!

@@shelbycat3843 In Germany, apartments typically don't come with kitchens already fitted out. Unless the previous renter leaves it and the landlord purchases it from a former tenant, a kitchen has the kitchen , cabinets and all has to be purchased by the tenant.

@@shelbycat3843 next is having central heating. It’s much more efficient than a single radiator in a room as it circulates heat evenly throughout the whole house. The worst gas and electric units are still 80 percent efficient

I’m half way through - where’s the washing machine and tumble drier 😳😳😳😳 plus in a house that size you needed a full height fridge and a full size freezer - that one is too small for a 5 bedroom house

@@dionnevoller2903I’m guessing the cupboard he didn’t open in the utility will be for a built in combination washer dryer, although a family of five warrants a separate washer and dryer. Also I agree if your buying a luxury five bedroomed home chances are your a family of five and a bigger fridge freezer would be more practical.

Thank you for doing these show home tours, this house has got to be one of my favourites. One thing I would like to ask is, when you're doing these tours, could you tell us what the brands of diffusers are? It was great you telling us today but trying to find a decent diffuser for my home is a thankless task, they never seem to smell or last. Also you could mention the bathroom toiletries too, trying to make my cottage more of a show home. Thanks guys, you're both fabulous x

in do a lot of work around new build sites and Story are by far my favourite, the lay out and design are always great,the right mix of traditional and modern, few little snags here and there, i agree a 5 bed house needs a bigger fridge in the actual kitchen space, i know the garage has room but still, also i know its all about practicality and maybe future value, but sometimes with these 5 beds id rather 4 much larger bedrooms, not many people have 4 kids and maybe no need for an office room with such a large study, maybe this could be an option when buying from plan

The utility is a great size but needs a cupboard for a dryer as well as washing machine. The back door from the utility opening onto the “courtyard” by the garage makes this an ideal place for a rotary dryer too. Agree with every comment regarding the fridge freezer, yes a big freezer in the garage but that fridge no use for a large family. Disappointing that mistakes like this spoil an otherwise beautiful home.

Yes typically they do unless the buyer negotiates with the developer the furnishings into the deal. Depends on developer whether they are willing to do this.

If you notice for some reason we didn’t open one cupboard in utility room. It was in there.
