Question - Recipe says to preheat oven to 400 - After putting ribs in oven do I leave temp on 400 to cook these ribs? I did leave temp on 400 because they did not give me any other temps?
Wait so like im making a frozen pizza and i needa preheat the oven. So i need to wait for the oven to get 400 degrees F and then put the pizza inside? Wont be hand disintegrate or does heat just not work like that
I've never preheated my oven, whether I'm baking cakes, cookies, roast, etc. I prepare the food, turn oven and immediately place food in oven. I've been cooking like this for 60+ years and yet have not had ANYTHING turned out less than great. IMO, preheating is a waste of energy.
Our senior housing apartment complex has really crappy ovens. You can’t seem to cook or bake anything under 400 degrees. I have an oat cake recipe that calls for pre heating oven to 375. Can I bake at 400? Also I pre heated my oven for 400 to make my usual baked potato. I cook it for 60 minutes turning it after 30 minutes. Thought it was cooked but when I cut into it, it was not cooked inside hard. They don’t allow us to buy are own ovens.
Do you mean warm up the mac and cheese? Usually you warm up the oven first, then once hot to the temperature stated in the box, place the baking dish in the oven.
My daughter has a small allergy to wheat and milk. Any advice as to how to or where to start adjusting to her new needs? It has been a big problem getting her to eat anything new that she normally didn’t before. Help please
I recommend swapping your baked goods with a 1:1 gluten free flour and a dairy free alternative milk / dairy products. They’re very easy to find. On both of my websites (and on this channel) I have A LOT of gluten free recipes.
It's helpful .. thank you ☺️

Thank you for watching! I am glad you found it helpful!!

While I can't recommend this when baking, glad it's worked for you.
Would be better if preheated, you just don't realize the difference. 😂
@warriorxtman2 if you can't notice a difference, what's the point?
@@bigduke2452you wont notice the difference unless you try another process. That’s his point

I miss the part on is baking preheating
Preheating is the part before you put the food in the oven.
Not to nitpick, but I missed the part where you explain WHY it's important 😅
For chicken and most proteins: to ensure proper cooking. Baked goods: for proper rise. Vegetables; prevents sogginess … for example.
My oven preheat on it's own
You're lucky!
