my DIY plein-air setup

Hey guys, I hope you're all enjoying whatever season you are in!
I finally got around to making my very own pochade box for some low-hassle outdoor painting.
This is something I've been wanting (and not buying) for a while now, as I find them quite expensive, especially when they are often not suited to my mediums/workflow etc.
I'm leaving tomorrow stay at the ocean for a week, and bring this box/tripod setup with me - a perfect way to end a summer:)

Have you considered using pans for painting plein air? I find them more compact and easier to deal with when on the move.

Have you tried the Windsor and newton watercolours as well as the daniel smith, I currently use WN but thinking to try DS, just trying to see if the expense is worth getting a new brand
