Your choice of color and eye for it is wonderful! My biggest stumbling block to quilting is color, which is why I usually buy kits already put together.
I just found your channel. I love the way you show how to do your blocks. I just watched a couple and cant wait to see more. Thank you for sharing your ideas with the you tube world .
I made this last night with different patterns and it turned out amazing. Thank you so much. I’m a beginner no doubt and this was pretty easy. I did make a bigger size also.
I'm new to quilting. I'm trying to understand the sewing of the first triangles to the long rectangular pieces. Besides what looks to be alot of wasted fabric, I don't understand how to decide the measurement/angle to cut in the rectangle. Is it as simple as just filling the side of the triangle right through the rectangle? I hope I've made sense LoL I'm going to make my first real quilt, a lap quilt I suppose you'd say. I just want to bundle up in the winter watching tv at nite. Of all the patterns I've found so far, this is my favourite.
Yes, just extend the line from the smaller triangle. Be sure to leave enough space to do that when you sew the small triangle to the rectangular 2 inch strip.
Do you square up your blocks as you go, or just wait til the end to square up the final block? What are the measurements of the initial squares used and the finished block?
Beautiful ❤

I'm new too. I'm curious, how did you make a bigger size? Like double to 10" squares? Or any number as long as it's square, like 7x7"?
Thanks 😊
Awesome - thank you....

Первый вариант более красивый, сошью такой.
I'm a beginner and would like to make a lap quilt with this pattern but can you tell me the yardage need to complete?

Вы зачем показали как шьете, мы что этого не знаем, да ещё так много.

Not careful with the bias
Never iron your seams open
Many people do.
I was told this way back many years ago but these days it’s perfectly acceptable and many times easier to press seams open!
