The actual song kills though. That album was legendary and that band changed metal.
Arzamet Lomiia It’s supposed to be in D standard. Not drop D
@@bobthebarney9005 but it wont change anything just the solo...
@@bobthebarney9005 and 4/5 step down haha
@@thedancingguy828 umm yes string tension does change tone.
The Living End - Carry Me Home. the best drop D forever
Man every time I hear RATM I feel the urge to practice another hour. Side note, that is a much easier way of playing Last Resort than I learned, lol.
I liked it when he played *mario kart*
carimusic you would you jackass. Now go charge your phone. Burn
LOVE THAT MOCKINGBIRD!
Walk is in One Step Down Tuning ( D G C F A d ) and Not in Drop D ( D A D G B e )
Actually it is slightly lower guitarlessons365.com/walk-guitar-lesson-w-onscreen-tab-pantera/
When you played "walk" that hurt my feelings 😭
For everybody talking about the Walk riff, Dime does use D Standard for it, but he has also mentioned in a live show for an amp company (can't remember the name) that he uses a guitar set to Drop D for songs like Walk and A New Level. So you're right, but so is he.
His riff still sucks though....
Edit: The company was Marshall I do believe.
Wyatt James dimebag’s riffs are amazing. Moron!
@@thisnamedosntmatter2u352 I wasn't talking about Dimebag. I was talking about this guy. Whoever this youtube video is. That pull off is very difficult to do right. It sets the attitude of the whole song.
Wyatt James oh sorry man I misunderstood. Yeah this guy played the riff very wrong but it isn’t easy to play it like dime did. No one can. But this guy could have tried a bit harder
0:54 I like your rendition of that part better than theirs. Good job
I think you made Walk harder than it had to be. It's just tuned down to D. Not drop D. They still had a little of that 80s glam in them from their beginnings. Think crue played most of their stuff tuned to D too
Tuning to d is harder than drop d as in its more of a faff
Good video, thanks for putting all these songs on, you play pretty good. Most of these tunes look difficult. Have a some negative comments on here, guess we have some real guitar masters on here...
BC RICH MOCKINGBIRD😍
Unholy Confessions is so much fun to play
Jorge Chávez it's so much fun
Jorge Chávez yes it is
I still don't know how you guys play it while string skipping and down picking
Akhtar Zamil Sirajudeen practice man. I’ll pick up my guitar and basically get lost playing and end up spending a few hours doing so. As long as you don’t loose your temper when playing you will make progress.
It is more fun when you can play with another guitarist with the harmonies
Love your work Big Hawk
Lay it Down - Ratt is the greatest drop D riff of all time.
Daniel Lerch - agreed totally
Daniel Lerch 100%
Daniel Lerch I can think of a couple that are a lot more heterosexual...just sayin
David Lee Roth lol. Eh ratt was silly but they had good licks.
David Lee Roth are you fuckin’ crazy? There’s nothing gay about the riff or the writers. Ah the irony if image is your reasoning. 🙄
