been having this motherboard for 4 years + and the cons are wifi so it’s always ethernet but over all ethernet is better so i’m okay with that…y specs are RTX 3080, ryzen 7 5700x and it’s pretty powerful… the down side is, is that you need to have a bigger case because GPUS are getting bigger and cover up half the motherboard but will fit

Since this is a Max motherboard this motherboard will be compatible with any CPU out of the box - up to the 3rd Gen (e.g. Ryzen 5 '3'600 and Ryzen 3 '3'100). Higher generation of CPUs (e.g. Ryzen 5 '5'600x or Ryzen 7 '5'800x) may need a bios upgrade

I updated this board and if I read correctly it supports the Ryzen 5800x 3d but I just can't seem to get it to work. I honestly don't know what I'm doing wrong or I ended up buying a cpu my board doesn't support.
I ended up buying an A520MH for my gaming build because that way i was sure i didnt have to flash the bios. I'm going to get one of these 450 boards for my multimedia/server pc though, i got a used ryzen 1600 from my brother which would match pretty good with this motherboard. Thanks for the video!

@@JODLEFTLONGAGO You can use any type of RGB my friend! Just make sure it can fit into the RGB header on the motherboard. I got an RGB light strip from Aliexpress which also comes with adapter that fits in the RGB header on the motherboard. The thing with lower tier mobos is no one actually buys them or looks for them, i actually just purchased this board with a ryzen 5500 and 16gb 4000mhz ram even though the cpu and board cant run at 4000mhz on the memory but heres the thing it was all part of an upgrade kit i didn't get to choose the board or memory or cpu and thats how most of these lower tier boards are sold, IMO its a great entry level board even with the lack of type C usb. OK wait you said Bluetooth????? why??? almost no motherboards come with Bluetooth, integrated wifi sure i could understand but bluetooth WTF?

I believe you will have to update BIOS (with 3000 series CPU) or BIOS flash to use 5000 series with this motherboard. I'd go for B550 version of this if you don't have a 3000 series CPU to update BIOS
It's a really informative video man. Just a question. If I connect one m2, and 2 hdd(internal), in this case the other 2 sata ports are still usable or they will be disabled(like I saw in some Asus and Gigbyte mobo)? Hey Navid, motherboards have limited commmunication channels and some motherboards prioritize the M.2 over 1 or 2 SATA ports because M.2 port is managed by the CPU. Which means some SATA ports will be disabled in most motherboards when an M.2 is being used. Unfortunately, I've tried looking through manuals of the Pro-VDH and it doesn't show anything regarding this. So there is a possibility you will run into this situation again if you get this motherboard and I don't want you to have this problem so I wouldn't recommend it to you and waste your time and money. You could look for gaming motherboards which have more slots. Or any mid end motherboard. Good question my friend. I am sure it will fit without hitting ram. Sapphire Nitro+ RX580 is 43mm from front of GPU to the backplate. When the GPU is fit into the socket the back plate will face up and be aligned with the socket. This means the front of the GPU will go down the motherboard (away from the RAM). So things like the PCIE slot and CMOS battery will get blocked. I hope this helps
This motherboard is compatible my friend but I would advise to go for a mid-high end motherboard. Generally CPU and GPU can be replaced but motherboard stays the same for a long time. This motherboard also lacks Bluetooth and Wifi so be aware of that

No problem with GPU my friend, but the CPU won't be compatible with the Motherboard out of the box. You will have to flash bios or update bios by putting in a 3rd Gen CPU (e.g. Ryzen 5 3600) into the motherboard first

i am having troubles having 4 sloths occupied 4 x 4 gb of kingstom hyper x fury on the motherboard, dunno why. they are all equal why isnt it working? is it because it is a dual channel motherboard? but shouldnt it work with 4slots occupied anyway? uff halp!
I believe the ram slots or the actual ram sticks might be faulty my friend. You will have to try and use the slots one by one and try turn on the PC - to see which slot is faulty (same for the RAM)

I believe you may have to my friend. I haven't tried this but better to be safe then sorry. You can either update the BIOS by a 3rd Gen CPU or FLASH the BIOS (you will need a different process for this). Check pinned comment to see how to FLASH BIOS.
Ryzen 5 5600X is compatible but the motherboard will need to have BIOS flashed or updated with a Ryzen 3000 Gen CPU (e.g. R5 3600 or R3 3100) for it to be able to support Ryzen 5000 CPUs. Both are fairly similar in terms of performance so get the one that's cheaper in your country. For this motherboard I'd recommend Ryzen 5 3600, getting this would mean you won't have to update/Flash BIOS (which can be quite a hassle and can potentially brick the motherboard) as the motherboard supports this CPU out of the box. Your CPU and GPU are all good my friend. If I was you I'd go for a more mid-higher end motherboard but this motherboard will get the job done (unless you want to overclock components later on)
When i open my PC the vga debug led and the cpu of this is blinking once, but there's no problem with my pc its working fine, but every time i open, the debug led blinks twice on CPU and VGA, but everything works fine. Is it a bug for this motherboard or do i need to upgrade the bios, I have ryzen 5 2600 and gtx 1650 with 1x8gb ram.
Good observation my friend, I think it just takes a second for the motherboard to detect CPU and Display which is why it blinks. Mine blinks on start up too but goes away after a second!! So nothing to worry about 😊 hope this helps.
Hello, this motehr board would work well with aAMD Ryzen™ 5 5600? It is to repower a vostro 400 for use in the office, not much will be required of it. I would accompany it with 32 GB ram memory.

Realistically you would want a mid to high end motherboard for your CPU my friend, but if you are on a budget then this motherboard will do. Motherboards usually don't get upgraded for years so you would usually get one that will fit your needs for years to come. I hope this helped 😊
@@ezylifewithtech It's just a 5600x. It's a 65W processor. The board is validated for 95W and 105W processors, up to and including the crazy 5950x. While i wouldn't put a 105W processor in there, at 65W, It's got OODLES of reserve. Just the overclocking experience wouldn't be perfect due to ripple and regulation. For a budget board it's also fairly efficient. The only problem is that you need the seller to preflash it for you, unless you read the sticker on the PS/2 connector and it's got the BIOS version out of the box that already works with the processor.

Unfortunately, I don't think 3600MHz RAM is supported. Also RAM support depends mostly on the CPU. However, most 3rd Gen CPUs do support 3200MHz RAM. As for video card for your monitors: you will need one which has the same port on your monitors e.g. HDMI. You may need HDMI-Display port converters. Apologies if I have not understood your question properly
Hey Andrey, I also own this motherboard and I have G.SKILL 16GB (2x8GB) 3600MHz CL16 Ripjaws V installed and it is running perfectly. There is an option in Bios that you have to activate and it will work. It is very easy. It is called AXMP and it has to be turned on.

Not quite sure my friend, haven't used heatsinks for M.2. But I can say the heatsink may not fit. My GPU is fully covering the M.2 slot area with only room for the M.2 Drive (underneath GPU) so heatsink for M.2 won't be able to fit with this motherboard

That's honestly the first time I've heard of that 🤔 After looking into it a bit, it seems that only happens for the 500 motherboards. So you should be safe with this motherboard. I personally haven't gotten any USB disconnection issues with this motherboard. I hope this helps ☺️

it's a big NO, don't buy any motherboard without any bios flash at the back. If you accidentally update this motherbaord bios to ryzen 5000 series support you ended up buying new one because it will not read any ryzen lower versions and there's no way to down grade the bios

I'm using this motherboard with 2023 bios, im running a 3400g with 4.15 ghz oc from 3.7ghz and runs fine Forget overclocking ram above manufacturers standard, my 3400g max supports 2993mhz anything more and my motherboard gets a white light until it's disables xmp profile all together, make sure to enable performance mode in the bios as well or else your cpu's clockspeed will jump up and down crazy Do not buy this board in 2023 it's bad, oh very bad

Kingston has sold off "HyperX" to HP I believe, HyperX used to be part of Kingston. Kingston "Fury Beast" is supposed to be Kingston's new RAM. There could have been a mistake by the staff and shipped the wrong one. That's the only logical explanation I can think of my friend. But the memory you have gotten isn't bad. I've been using it for almost 2 years and no complaints. Do check if it supports CL 16 and 3200MHz speed

Hey Navid, motherboards have limited commmunication channels and some motherboards prioritize the M.2 over 1 or 2 SATA ports because M.2 port is managed by the CPU. Which means some SATA ports will be disabled in most motherboards when an M.2 is being used.
Unfortunately, I've tried looking through manuals of the Pro-VDH and it doesn't show anything regarding this. So there is a possibility you will run into this situation again if you get this motherboard and I don't want you to have this problem so I wouldn't recommend it to you and waste your time and money.

Guys help me, I have B450M PRO-VDH MAX. And ill buy Sapphire Nitro+ RX580, will it fit to the MOBO without hitting the RAM?
Good question my friend. I am sure it will fit without hitting ram. Sapphire Nitro+ RX580 is 43mm from front of GPU to the backplate. When the GPU is fit into the socket the back plate will face up and be aligned with the socket. This means the front of the GPU will go down the motherboard (away from the RAM). So things like the PCIE slot and CMOS battery will get blocked. I hope this helps

This motherboard is compatible my friend but I would advise to go for a mid-high end motherboard. Generally CPU and GPU can be replaced but motherboard stays the same for a long time. This motherboard also lacks Bluetooth and Wifi so be aware of that

No problem with GPU my friend, but the CPU won't be compatible with the Motherboard out of the box. You will have to flash bios or update bios by putting in a 3rd Gen CPU (e.g. Ryzen 5 3600) into the motherboard first

i am having troubles having 4 sloths occupied 4 x 4 gb of kingstom hyper x fury on the motherboard, dunno why. they are all equal why isnt it working? is it because it is a dual channel motherboard? but shouldnt it work with 4slots occupied anyway? uff halp!
I believe the ram slots or the actual ram sticks might be faulty my friend. You will have to try and use the slots one by one and try turn on the PC - to see which slot is faulty (same for the RAM)

I believe you may have to my friend. I haven't tried this but better to be safe then sorry. You can either update the BIOS by a 3rd Gen CPU or FLASH the BIOS (you will need a different process for this). Check pinned comment to see how to FLASH BIOS.

yes i had b350m from gigabyte and i use to run 4ghz without any issue and make sure you are using a good airflow case
Way old post I know but 3.8ghz is a really mild overclock if you have the 1600AF Zen Plus 12 nanometer version.

Which processor is better?
Ryzen 5 5600X is compatible but the motherboard will need to have BIOS flashed or updated with a Ryzen 3000 Gen CPU (e.g. R5 3600 or R3 3100) for it to be able to support Ryzen 5000 CPUs.
Both are fairly similar in terms of performance so get the one that's cheaper in your country.
For this motherboard I'd recommend Ryzen 5 3600, getting this would mean you won't have to update/Flash BIOS (which can be quite a hassle and can potentially brick the motherboard) as the motherboard supports this CPU out of the box.

Your CPU and GPU are all good my friend. If I was you I'd go for a more mid-higher end motherboard but this motherboard will get the job done (unless you want to overclock components later on)

When i open my PC the vga debug led and the cpu of this is blinking once, but there's no problem with my pc its working fine, but every time i open, the debug led blinks twice on CPU and VGA, but everything works fine. Is it a bug for this motherboard or do i need to upgrade the bios, I have ryzen 5 2600 and gtx 1650 with 1x8gb ram.
Good observation my friend, I think it just takes a second for the motherboard to detect CPU and Display which is why it blinks. Mine blinks on start up too but goes away after a second!! So nothing to worry about 😊 hope this helps.

Realistically you would want a mid to high end motherboard for your CPU my friend, but if you are on a budget then this motherboard will do. Motherboards usually don't get upgraded for years so you would usually get one that will fit your needs for years to come. I hope this helped 😊

@@ezylifewithtech It's just a 5600x. It's a 65W processor. The board is validated for 95W and 105W processors, up to and including the crazy 5950x. While i wouldn't put a 105W processor in there, at 65W, It's got OODLES of reserve. Just the overclocking experience wouldn't be perfect due to ripple and regulation. For a budget board it's also fairly efficient.
The only problem is that you need the seller to preflash it for you, unless you read the sticker on the PS/2 connector and it's got the BIOS version out of the box that already works with the processor.

Unfortunately, I don't think 3600MHz RAM is supported. Also RAM support depends mostly on the CPU. However, most 3rd Gen CPUs do support 3200MHz RAM.
As for video card for your monitors: you will need one which has the same port on your monitors e.g. HDMI. You may need HDMI-Display port converters.

Hey Andrey, I also own this motherboard and I have G.SKILL 16GB (2x8GB) 3600MHz CL16 Ripjaws V installed and it is running perfectly. There is an option in Bios that you have to activate and it will work. It is very easy. It is called AXMP and it has to be turned on.

Look up the bios you need from MSI and inspect the box for a sticker that says what bios it shipped with or ask the seller.

Not quite sure my friend, haven't used heatsinks for M.2. But I can say the heatsink may not fit. My GPU is fully covering the M.2 slot area with only room for the M.2 Drive (underneath GPU) so heatsink for M.2 won't be able to fit with this motherboard

But I am not sure if an update is needed. R3 PRO 4350G is an OEM based CPU so very rare, you will have to try and research if an update is needed. However, most 550 motherboards can run it without needing an update, so that could be your last option. Hope this helps💙

it's a big NO, don't buy any motherboard without any bios flash at the back. If you accidentally update this motherbaord bios to ryzen 5000 series support you ended up buying new one because it will not read any ryzen lower versions and there's no way to down grade the bios

I'm using this motherboard with 2023 bios, im running a 3400g with 4.15 ghz oc from 3.7ghz and runs fine
Forget overclocking ram above manufacturers standard, my 3400g max supports 2993mhz anything more and my motherboard gets a white light until it's disables xmp profile all together, make sure to enable performance mode in the bios as well or else your cpu's clockspeed will jump up and down crazy

Kingston has sold off "HyperX" to HP I believe, HyperX used to be part of Kingston. Kingston "Fury Beast" is supposed to be Kingston's new RAM.
There could have been a mistake by the staff and shipped the wrong one. That's the only logical explanation I can think of my friend. But the memory you have gotten isn't bad. I've been using it for almost 2 years and no complaints. Do check if it supports CL 16 and 3200MHz speed

Hmm, I also heard that news somewhere.... HyperX was a division of Kingston before...but still the fact remains unchanged that both are same RAM, and if you check their specifications on different e-commerce websites like Amazon ,You will notice they are saying the primary and basic differences between them is the RAM Voltage (HyperX-1.2V / BEAST-1.35V) and Overclocking capacity ( HyperX-3466mHz/BEAST-3733 mHz)
