Thanks for the very clear video ! We just changed the fuel pump following your instructions on our Seafood RX DI 2000. Unfortunately the engine is still not running. The relay works and the engine starts but it doesn't run. As if we were missing fuel. Any chance you can advise on what could be the problem? Thanks 👍
What made you know it was the fuel pump? I have the same ski and when I’m running it stalls in low idle. I also have to give it gas to started it and it is a direct injection and I don’t know what is wrong with it.
Love the video’s, but why in the world are you putting 2 Stroke oil in the cylinder, just to pump it back out??? It’s so messy!!! Pull the plugs, and spray FOGGING oil in the cylinders. Manually turn the engine 1 full rotation, then spray cylinders with fogging oil again. Fogging oil sticks to the walls of the cylinder and doesn’t run off like 2 Stroke oil will. And zero mess!!!
So I have the same jet ski don’t have spark I said screw it and just gonna put it away for winter how do I or should I still flush the system with coolant hasn’t been in water in two year and no water in the systen
Replace the grey fuel lines they create issues clogging etc ...the Direct Fuel Injection system is known to be high maintenance the Carburetor models work the best . Great Video trust you read the comments ..
Thank you so much for your comment! Luckily we already changed out the grey fuel lines, except for the tank ventilation! They really are a handful, but if you know what breaks then it’s still doable
@@AbsoluteRebuilds I own the 99 XP Carb model and the 94 XP 657X Seadoo has a recall on the Fuel Cell (Tank) they catch fire....I built tow Dolly's Trolly's out of Lumber to Store , move the skis .... great video .
If you poor fuel into the spark plug hole and put the spark plug back does it start? Seadoo DI’s are know for failing pumps! Don’t buy from China they will use to much volts and will burn your rectifier. (12volt low warning) you want to buy a pump such as; www.ebay.com/itm/Sea-Doo-Direct-Injection-2002-2004-Fuel-Pump-Tank-Seal-XP-LRV-DI-204560259-/182611536838?_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49286 Let me know if you have any questions!

It's always a gamble with what kind of problems they will come out of storage!

My jet ski died while riding I think it could be the fuel pump, is there anyway if testing this ?
