Hi there. Great video! I've struggled to find anyone that can show me the compressor oil drain line but your video shows it well. Can you recall, roughly, what size I.D that pipe you clamped, is? I think someone has found the pipe lyng in the hull and connected it to the winterizing plug on the intake box, where you squirt the spray can down once a year.
Having a hard time aligning my motor even with the tool. Do you know the approximate amount of shims under the engine mounts. 2000 gtx di. thanks in advance.
Usually 3 shims per side but they are different thickness. I would not worry too much about making it perfect. I have done many just by eye and they run perfectly.
I would lower the engine with the oil pump already set up and then just connect the intake side while its in the body. I find it easier that way since there is no adjustment on the intake side.

I believe it is a 4mm clamp

Were you able to piece together that engine or did you order a reman one.?
I bought new cases / pistons/ rings and put it all back together. New used crank as well.
What alignment tool do you have. Wsm or sbt?
It came from the watercraft superstore.
