Congratulations on completing your Olympic 50p’s! I have to admit that I “cheated” for mine and bought a set off eBay in 2012 for £30. My favourite is, of course, the Britannia and what luck to get not only a food price but also the privy mark. They cost £24 when released in 2017.
Them Olympic 50p’s! also have the completers medal to finish them off And that coin cost more to buy than the football 50p and to make things worse there are more than one design to collect
Presently, I'm busy transferring my coins from PVC pages to Polycarbonate pages with little cardboard sleeves, I'm decontaminating, not cleaning each and every coin with Acetone, this protects the coins from any acidic damage from the PVC.
I have almost completed my 50p collection, which includes all the NIFC examples, just 22 coloured coins to find, but I'm still financially recovering from the purchase of the 16 2009 proof coins, all Cameos, which includes the Kew Gardens!
