The Hayabusa. The consummate GT motorbike. There is no other machine that gives you that much power, that much stability and all day bombing along comfort. In my opinion it is a masterpiece of engineering and design.
Thats was a great review! I would have to agree 100% with you on all your statements. Im glad u had a chance to ride a busa and share your opinion. Pretty dam fast sport touring bike that does well on a track. Thanks for sharing! ! There are a few minor difference between the where the busa is purchased ... CANADIAN BUSA VS USA VS JAPANESE. VS EUROPE. They all have a few different specs but not a big deal. 1999-2000 had no restrictions on speed in 2001 the factory started to put a governor on them 300 kph. Great job my friend
HushpuppyAddict Great candid review! I like the fact that you have experienced other bikes that gives a grand perspective. Funny, you are like all of us other bike owners, no matter how clean you got it... there is always something that can be cleaned on it! =)) Loved that seat-of-your-pants blast at the end, too! And you settled into fourth and mellowed! It's amazing how quickly you catch up on other traffic, isn't it! What a missile! BIG THUMBSUP >95
hi have to say , what a nice happy and charming review ,makes such a change from over serious fault finding critical reviews , so nice to hear someone just enjoying themselves and laughing ,great to hear someone enjoying the hayabusa for what it is , loved it
Thank you! Awesome to have cordial pleasantries where I'm usually defending myself or making bullshit excuses....please don't watch my Can Am vid, I prefer your fondness of me....That vid makes me look like the fault finding nothing good to say critic ....I do say the motor's strong :)
Damn 100lb difference, where did it come from? Lol. Great video btw, if I would have seen this back in the day it wouldn't have taken me forever to get mine
I do like this bike but double I will ever own one. It's not a bike for everyone but I do enjoy the videos of people riding it and maybe I will ride one myself one day.
They are not, the owner put them on, I didn't like em , I think he's gettin ready to change them, cause he deist like em either. Thanks for watchin....speed safe:)
Kick stand is very bad if you park on a slope downward ,it's bin known to come off side stand and fall over,(Big Damage). Side stand can be altered to be more stable ,look for video on side stand up grade on youtube. Nice review, ride safe bro👍
sappobbg Your Baby Sister was not shy on Speed :) Eh!! A little Info that you guys might like to know "Maybe already know lol " " Hayabusa (隼?) is Japanese for "peregrine falcon", a bird that often serves as a metaphor for speed due to its vertical hunting dive, or stoop, speed of 180 to 202 miles per hour (290 to 325 km/h), the fastest of any bird " So i think Suzuki made justice to the name and she is A BEAUTIFUL Beast Very good review and Ride Thumbs up
Great info!, I did know(I lived in Japan for 3 years), I had it in my last weeks vlog where the audio was shot, forgot to splice it in. Thanks for ridin with me Samurai!! always a pleasure
So what's your opinion as far as all-day riding goes? Is this thing gonna kill your wrists/throw your back out/cramp your legs up? I'm used to riding standards/cruisers and have never ridden a sport bike but would love to take a Hayabusa for a spin some day. Great video!
MikeyFraz1 If you are not used to your feet being in a sprotbike tuck....you may get a hip cramp or 2. And there are ways around wrist forearm pain. I've never had sore wrists from riding...just gotta keep your weight back, not slouched over. I spent 6 hours on that bike one day...had no problems...Thanks for watchin bro!
From '99-'07 the weights varied from 474lb-534lb Dry....Second generation Busa '08 to present dry weight is 550lbs dry. How the fuck is that 200 lbs lol
Lol, my buell isnt stock and outruns that busa (which now is flashed, race exhaust, cam and dynoed at 235hp) to 120 mph and doesn't pass me till he gets 3/4 thru 3rd gear. Feel the mighty power of the V-Twin. So stand corrected boy
***** I know the falcon already myself. I just didn't want rant or ramble on about the Busa history on why and how it got the name and on and on and on .....lol Also the aerodynamic s is shaped like the killing bird if you look closely. They done many wind tunnel tests back at the beginning and start of the Hayabusa. Ill shut up now or I could go on.... lol
Depends on attitude.....if one realizes what this machine is capable of, more importantly respects what it is capable of, then yes. It would be a fine first bike
50 watched and only 6 likes!! whatthehell!!! well i liked it , tryed some suzys and they go good and nimble , i just dont want the hassle of them trubles they got, but i dont get the killer bike attitude that flows around them, they are fast if you punch them , but more a big ,well driven bike then the myth of them as super fast racers. hope youll get her pillion on it if you get one , she deff wil enjoy it !!
It's all good. I fell in love with Suzis in Japan with the RGV line. Owned a coupla gixxers here in the states. Great bikes, then again, I like all bikes, but my suzukis have always handles amazingly, no matter the model. Thanks for watchin bro , my love to yours
thanx bro , right back to ya , and theres no wonder why suzys become one of the top racing bikes !! im in a haze for wanting to show you my other bike ,time and a broke down car ,and always money issues comes in the way ,but im getting in te time zone to do it in a short while!! not far from the RGV....
Fasten it how, fuckin genius. I would never put one of those ignorant ass things on any of my bikes. It was "fastened", which is why I found it retarded. So for you to tell me to fasten something, that is already fastened to the bike, just makes me sad for all the ignorant asses on my planet
SimonSays559 Simon ...my apologies sir...I've had a troll fuckin with me on some of my older vids. sometimes you cant see the whole name on the phone YT app, and I whipped out the asshat prematurely.... I've seen you comment on my and/or others vids(DoItW/Dan maybe??). Again..I apologize. btw, the elastic was worn, he said he never noticed because he's fat and his belly holds it down. lol
HushpuppyAddict thanks for that i knew you really were a good guy i just thought it was hilarious seeing the bra flap around like that and you trying to control it haha... i would be pissed too if a bra was in my face.... or would i, hmm... anyways yea i watch doit/wdan sometimes he makes great videos, us bikers are a crazy bunch haha.
SimonSays559 I've never liked "bras" on bikes or cars. I'd rather see the wear of good fun on a car/bike, than faded paint job and floppy pleather. Thanks again for your support bro, ....don't be afraid of my assholiness
Angel Loeza had both .if ya want a pig buy a 99 07 busa. if you want a bike whos gonna turn like a supersport of that era blackbird will destroy the busa. plus much more comfortable you dont feel the weight like the old busa and much more reliable with superior brakes. actually old busa brakes vs blackbird no competition. busa has no brakes busa is just faster with more cc. the 08+ busa though another story. handles like a supersport much much faster. you dont feel the weight that much. slightly tuned brakes and better looking far more reliable and forgiving beast
+gamingradeon I don't ever have to lie dude it looks like a bug look at it like a praying mantis so kiss my ass I don't lie to anyone go troll elsewhere

Its not a clip on and it’s not an agressive seat position
that 1125 sounds awesome!
Thanks Marten.....HMF makes a great pipe for the buells
HushpuppyAddict I do not think they make pipe for the XBs?
***** I think they do, If not, FMF apex is nice also
Most people make exhaust for Buell 1125, the Buell XB exhaust is way different
So what's your opinion as far as all-day riding goes? Is this thing gonna kill your wrists/throw your back out/cramp your legs up? I'm used to riding standards/cruisers and have never ridden a sport bike but would love to take a Hayabusa for a spin some day. Great video!

Another Ohioian to sub to very nice!
I am sorry but i beleive that the Busa can smoke your Buell 1125r at any speed.
Lol, my buell isnt stock and outruns that busa (which now is flashed, race exhaust, cam and dynoed at 235hp) to 120 mph and doesn't pass me till he gets 3/4 thru 3rd gear. Feel the mighty power of the V-Twin. So stand corrected boy

oh by the wat "en masse" means "a lot" in danish!! guess you already know that...
That's why I worded it like that:)
sweet!! (google translate?)
transdetendal nah....I've used "en masse" since I was a kid.....thought it sounded fancy lol
how do you pronounce it? like frenche or?
I pronounce it with a long a like en maaas
hayabusa was named after the japanese word for falcon which back in '99 the busa was the competitor to the honda blackbirdxx
falcons eat blackbirds
It's the Japanese word for Peregrine falcon to be specific
Angel Loeza had both
.if ya want a pig buy a 99 07 busa. if you want a bike whos gonna turn like a supersport of that era blackbird will destroy the busa. plus much more comfortable you dont feel the weight like the old busa and much more reliable with superior brakes. actually old busa brakes vs blackbird no competition. busa has no brakes
busa is just faster with more cc.
the 08+ busa though another story. handles like a supersport much much faster. you dont feel the weight that much. slightly tuned brakes and better looking far more reliable and forgiving beast
and yes, I go fast on it -------- U fck kiding me? 🤣👎
I'll smoke you on my 99 katana 600
Lmfao
busa is nice but i would go for the kawa ZZR 1400
I explain the differences in the vid
its just the bike i would have kawasaki is the bike for me have a zx750r and love her
Fast ass bike but idk I don't really care for the look
wow!! stop riding down the center of the lane, that's where all the crap is, nails, screws, antifreeze, gas, oil,
yes that is stupid
it's honestly the worst looking bike out there
Opinions vary
So would you think, that this is prettier than R1?
+gamingradeon yes it is much prettier than the R1...the R1 looks like a squashed bug
Good sir, keep lying to yourself.
+gamingradeon I don't ever have to lie dude it looks like a bug look at it like a praying mantis so kiss my ass I don't lie to anyone go troll elsewhere
