24 years ago, i flew with LH to and from IAH. I remember the Airport with airline logos on a rolling "scroll" at the checkin in July 2001. Some ad displays at German railway stations still have posters on a roll and scroll through these every 10 seconds or so. When we checked in back then, Lufthansa staff just opened the counter and they scrolled through United airlines, Air Canada, Continental first before Lufthansa scrolled up. It was very slowly. After clearing security, we got to our gates where the same poster scroller was installed and at the gate in Terminal B(?), the poster got stuck and they had to move it manually.
As of January 9 2024, the north side of Terminal B has been closed to get replaced by a couple of new concourses. Who knew that progress has the potential to be this fast
On both of my visits, I didn't have time to eat anywhere. There are several places in the center of the concourse that will be easily accessible, no matter what you're hungry for.
I don't usually have issues recording. Because I'm capturing the environment and don't care so much for specific people, I think most people ignore it or don't even notice it. It's a discreet setup, which helps, and I do my best to not draw attention to myself.
It's always sad when an older terminal is replaced, mostly for the history and nostalgia for frequent travelers, but it's being replaced for a reason, and that's to help passengers have a better experience!
Is there an apple store located in this airport? My friend is flying from here this month end and he wants to buy an iphone to gift his friend. If anyone knows that please reply me

Huh, it's a pretty chill airport actually. Not what I was expecting. When I flew to SLC, it was a huge futuristic zone I was so caught offguard lol

1:07:25 the right side wouldve been the corridor to the former international arrivals and customs at Terminal B back sometime in the 70s and 80s
You didn't go into, near enough detail on Terminal C with its computer bars; nooks; booths and the wonderful space that it is.
