    Very good info indeed on how to navigate this large Bush International Airport!

    I was a driver on 12/20/23 about 6:15 pm picking up 3 0:03 family members who were waiting in lane 1 of terminal A arrivals when I was redirected to lane 4. Before I could even put my vehicle in park as the arriving family crossed the street to lane 4, a male traffic attendant screamed at me in an extremely hostile manner, to exit the terminal meaning I’d have to circle around through 1 hour traffic while literally seeing my 3 passengers in my rear view mirror. This is unacceptable behavior and the IAH management must correct this as it’s a very bad look for this airport and America’s 4th largest city.

    hey man ! i appreciate this video so so much :) i will be a first time flyer at IAH very soon and I have been trying to google answers to certain questions but I am a bit confused and unsure so if you don't mind helping me, it would mean a lot especially since I wont be going with anyone who has experience. 1. Did you check in online or in person? And if you know the difference, what is the difference? Do I have to do both? 2. So I enter the airport, I check in first thing first, and then I head over to my terminal, AND THEN security checkpoint? Or security first, THEN my terminal? I assume there is security checkpoints at every terminal maybe. 3. Last question sorry, once we get through security and you find your gate, is all you do wait until they call you to board the plane? or is there any extra steps? thank you and sorry if I typed a lot haha. so basically, get to airport, check in and get your boarding pass, go through bag security, then wait at gate and thats all? thanks again man! Your response would mean a lot, I am just stressed out

      1) I checked in online and used the bar code they gave me as the ticket for them to scan at the gate entrance. Yes there is a difference. Checking in online first makes things very easy. No you don't have to do both. 2) If you have a bag to check in for your flight you go to the airline check in place and wait in line to check in your bag. If you don't have a bag to check in and everything you have is carry-on then you just go straight to security where they will x-ray all of your stuff. After security you start following signs to your terminal number. 3) When you get to your terminal you just wait and listen for the commands they will give you over the intercom. Basically they are going to call everyone to board in sections depending on what type of ticket you have. Usually people who spend more on 1st class or something similar will board first.

    Does anyone know if they are very strict about the quart size bag does it have to be a ziplock bag or can it be any quart size bag ??

    • @ingridjasmine1989
      @ingridjasmine1989 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Based on my experience, they're not strict with it. I would use these quart size see through bags from Amazon, and I haven't had a problem

    I have a question fir anyone who is laid over. Do you have to go through security again? I only have an hour between flights.

      No, when you get off the plane just walk to the next gate and wait for departure

    I will be arriving and deparing from IAH next month for the eclipse. This is my first time flying into this airport. I'm trying to get an idea of what time to arrive at the airport when we fly back home. My entire family has pre TSA and we leave at almost 8pm. Would arriving about 530/6pm be ok for pre TSA? Thanks :)

    • @Canoncorey
      @Canoncorey  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes that should be a good time. Are they checking in bags?

    I hate that airport as soon as the doors open everyone starts griping at you. I can't go back there they made me mad so I told them some stuff gave them a piece of my mind.

    When you went through tsa do they have signs or do they tell you to take any electronics / vapes etc out of your carry on?

    • @Canoncorey
      @Canoncorey  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They make you take out electronics larger than a cell phone. I’m sure about the vapes though. I would just leave that in my checked bag.

    Janky is when the airplane has busted seats and is nasty. Sketchy means things like a bearing in the engine is going out.

    I don't know why they are so gripy at big airports. I have even flown into Liberal kansas and was not talked to like that.

    Thats where i got on a united express I told the pilot it looked sketchy that airplane was all janky. I almost got beat up by the pilot and then I had my knee in the asile on purpose. The fat flight attendant said "move that knee or i'll knock it off".
