Could you use a set up like this?
@@MainvilleATV that’s not a log skidder bud
@@rickeydillon9802 Sure it is.
looking forward to seeing those benches
I know a few people with similar setups.
Where I’m at we do all of our firewood work in the winter. The logs skid way easier on frozen snow covered ground.
@nseric1233 very true and normally I would agree but the swamp makes for really bad ice and not always great with water flow underneath. The trail should help now!
Nice trailer! But I think the chainsaw bar is going to take a beating hanging down like that. I would suggest mounting it a little higher and/or incorporating a scabbard to protect it.
Maybe a snatch block to help double the strength of the winch. And like the other gentleman suggested a dolly for the back of the log to rest on
@robertnunley4846 if I were milling these logs I would consider it for sure.
Needed to add (On Assassinators) at the end of your title haha. Good video man always enjoy watching.
@@780Aleks-AB ooof, I really missed a viral title eh
I tried to cut that fence when we were picking rocks. But didnt have big enough snips lol
@@timhamilton549 haha appreciate it!
A idea is build or get a cradle with wheels for the back of logs would move easier and less stress on everything
Good video I like your videos I have seen
Princess auto sells one of those pretty cheap.
😅you are going to want to have a scabbard on your saw or you will be using a dull chain quite a bit.
Red oak
only issue i see is the chainsaw bar is low hanging fruit . but nice set up !
U should've gotten that mule tape 35 hundred pounds of pulling
Firstttt🔥🤘🏼
Holy! That was fast!
