Pink Noise Tinnitus Masking - 90 Minutes

  • www.virtualdreamer.com presents ninety minutes of continuous pink noise for masking tinnitus and irritating background noise. White noise can be too sharp for some people however a pink noise mask has more bass and is more pleasing to the ear. So, if you have trouble concentrating due to tinnitus, or you have insomnia and just want a little help to sleep, try our long Pink Noise masker.

    Moved into a new office space that is so quiet, I can hear my ears ring. Payback for a lifetime of abuse with loud music. Never tried noise masking before - this is amazing. Thanks!

    Although this particular sound is not effective for me it's wonderful it helps some people get relief. This sound is so annoying. It's very close to the frequency of my tinnitus it's like listening to it much louder. I have tinnitus in my right ear (1989) not both ears as most people have. I am almost completely deaf in my right ear as well. The only way I've been able to deal with it is lorazepam and meditation. I also listen to music on my Mp3 but no earbuds old fashioned headphones. It's horrible to have no peace and quiet. It's nice people have found this that helps then cope.

      Susan Plunkett I think you have to listen to it for ten of fifteen minutes. Then the brain blocks it out and you don’t know it’s there until it stops.

    I first developed Tinnitus as an apprentice in 1976, I worked in a very noisy engineering factory and Health & safety and ear protectors where not around then! By the time I had completed my apprenticeship, the damage was permanent and has now been an unwelcome comp[anion in my life for 40 years! Only today I have discovered pink noise and I have found that by adjusting the volume down a little at a time , there is a point at which my crickets in my head seem to fall silent! Well done and thank you brad! Now I can do more research and might even gain some relief after all these years...

I have been living for the past 25 years with Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV) plus Tinnitus, at first I had to give up driving, my sport that was scuba diving, any form of sports, loud music, etc,,,, it was incapacitating, life sucked, got depression, but, now my BPPV attacks are less severe by exercises methods of daily self-administration of particle repositioning head maneuvers, the Tinnitus also, due to masking it with these type of sounds, thanks to the wonderful people that upload these sounds. I'm back to driving, it has been a life changing, I have now, a home gym to exercise because I still cannot engage in any sports, but, I enjoy life again. You will too. I promise. Life is Beautiful!

      :( I have always described my ringing as the sound the TV makes (even when sound is off) when it is in another room. Kinda like when u tell ur kids to cut off the tv and go to bed...They turn it on with the sound off and that high pitch electrical sound that lets u know the TV is on. I got rid of my TV lol

    To each their own. Have it in both ears more so on the left . The beats work much faster to relax into full meditation and a deeper sleep. There is something out there for everyone. Find your niche. It's only a statement and maybe a new suggestion for those whom aren't familiar with binaural beats.

    For some reason it made my tinnitus louder. It varies throughout the day, often louder in the late afternoon (no idea why) to the point it drives me nuts. It's less severe now so thought I'd Google something to help but this pink noise immediately made it louder then when I stopped the noise it returned to the same level it was before listening. Hope it helps some people.

    Hey Brad, I heard that most of the cases tinnitus is temporary.
    I'm 15 and I've had tinnitus for basically a month and a half now. Somewhere around there. I went to the doctor for it and I had an ear infection, perforated eardrum and an earwax blockage. The doctor told me I should go to an ENT which I haven't yet, doubt theyll be able to help. I'm pretty sure I have it permanently which sucks cause I never listen to loud music/videos and i'm never near loud environments, video helped me sleep. Thanks!

      @tpowell453 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +DoubleUpOnBob - I've had it since I was young, and it comes and goes. Eventually your brain will adapt to it. That's the beauty of the human machine. It learns to tune stuff out over time. There will be a cure, so try not to let it bother you. Use anything that works, including white noise, movies, etc. Keep your chin up! Many people are researching the problem these days. Someone will figure it out. Meantime, just distract yourself and know that it will be OK. As Brad mentioned, I also had to use sedatives for a while. And for me, that was just fine. During the day I hardly ever notice it, even now.

      I was told it is caused by brain entrainment which is caused by microwave frequency targeting or simply by all the microwave pollution to which we are subjected. I've tried listening to rife frequencies for tinnitus and others, but they don't work for me. I wonder all the time if it isn't because I'm hearing the noise of continuous microwave bombardment. The only way for me to know for sure would be to go to or get into an environment that is free of microwaves.

      Glad it helps. Pink Noise, like White Noise' is a spectrum of sound frequencies. This includes high pitched sounds that emulate tinnitus. Ergo, your brain can't tell the difference. I use tinnitus masking every night as I have had the condition for over two decades.

    If only this could help for people with deafness and Tinnitus. I have Single Sided Deafness with permanent screeching tones in my deaf ear. Waterfall on my almost working ear only makes T worst for my deaf ear.

      Yes.. I have had tinnitus for over 25 years. Sound masking is the only way I get a good night sleep

    No I haven't yet but whoever suffers from hyperacusis should try sound therapy. If you don't have the money for professional help do it your self. Listin to ur favorite song 25min a day for a week and slowly increase the sound level every work.

    Try pink noise.

  • @verdew8181
    @verdew8181 8 ปีที่แล้ว

    This is not melodious or like water running. This is more of a machine sound. You could have pictures of pink stuff -- flowers, sunset colors, flamingos, pigs, drinks, elephants seen after drinks, etc.

      You obviously don't have tinnitus. Binaural beats do not mask ringing ears

      Brad McBride binuarals are good for meditation or relaxation, even some good programs for headaches...But you are correct...does not help with ther ringing :(

      Exlaination.. In meditating, it helps to regain my focus and direct my thoughts away from the nagging ringing. Gets so bad its all I concentrate on and turns to a massive headache. So with redirection I learn to put it in the background. I don't want to simply mask it, have to learn how to live and control it.

    lmao how is this helpful? Oh, your ear is broken and you hear a staticy noise all the time? Well here, EVEN MORE STATIC NOISE TO COVER IT UP! YOU'RE WELCOME

    • @nimh1515
      @nimh1515 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Tinnitus often doesn't present as a " staticy noise" as you put it. It usually is a "cricket sound" or "high pitched whine". Does this cover the sound up? No, but it gives your brain something else to listen to, and helps you ignore the sounds, white noise is known to be soothing so even if you don't have tinnitus it might help you relax. Often I don't hear my tinnitus when I'm focused on other things, but when it's very quiet the sound (that doctors believe your brain is making up due to lack of hearing things in that frequency range) can be nearly maddening.

    • @CanyonF
      @CanyonF 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Brandon McDougal ringing is more what I meant, not staticy. Personally this just sounds annoying, regardless of what it covers up

    • @nimh1515
      @nimh1515 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      I get that, different frequency are heard by everyone, so it's hard to pick just one variation of noise that will hit them all, try some other ones, some blue noise works better for me and because of how high pitched mine is white noise is actually the best for masking, but it's not going to make your tinnitus better of course.

    • @CanyonF
      @CanyonF 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Brandon McDougal yea, I found some mp3s of radio frequencies or something that comes off planets and stars. Basically just something to put sound in my ears.

    • @nimh1515
      @nimh1515 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Glad you found something that's working for you. Just music seems to work better than anything else, I guess I need a large range of frequencies to get mine off my mind.
