    Very helpful Dr Robin. Would like to hear more about Estrogen and orthostasis? In menopause. Thanks.

    Amazing work!!! Thank you. At 52, I was but on the estradiol patch. I felt great at first but then started feeling weak with chest pain and forced breathing. I also experienced nose bleeds (very thin and bright red blood). Your video discussed dilation and blood pressure reduction. I run 99/72. Based on the information presented in your video, I may have suffered with lowered blood pressure?

      Potentially yes, but estrogen affects more than just blood pressure. It affects your clotting and many other aspects of health. It sounds like you need worked up further to ensure your dose isn’t too high and that your clotting isn’t being affected.

    Could you re-do this video just for the menopause. My friend has high blood pressure and she stopped watching after you started talking about pre-clamsia and didn't get to that part where HRT patch or cream may assist.

    Hi. Thank you dr. I am 41. Recently, after 16 months of agony and various healthy issues, I have been diagnosed with menopause. I started HRT three weeks ago. But couple of weeks before starting hrt, I felt my diastolic BP rises in the evening. Still after starting hrt sometimes in the evening my diastolic BP goes to 81 to 86. Any advice? Tnx

      Hey, anytime you start a new therapy it takes a couple months for you body yo regulate to it! Those numbers aren’t bad, but should also calm down once your body adjust! If not it might be the wrong dose for you!

      Wow, I didn’t know you could start menopause so early. What were some of the warning signs? Did you ever have low progesterone or joint pain?

      @@mz8583 poor thing, sorry to hear it. The experimental mRNA shot sure is dangerous. I hope you’re feeling better now? I’ve been having rheumatoid arthritis pains and I just turned 40. I’m trying to figure out what to do. I think I’m low on progesterone as one factor.

    Im 54 and have been on the estriadol patch which has helped many symptoms, but my blood pressure is now running low and i feel lightheaded. Could the patch be causing this? I asked my dr and she said shes never heard of this. Im afraid to stop it because of how horrible i felt before. What should i do?

    • @dr.robinlewis
      @dr.robinlewis  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It could be the patch or something else, hard to say. I can’t give specifics online but I would say this at the least warrants having your hormones levels checked to make sure they aren’t too high!

  • @-living4jesus4ever-
    @-living4jesus4ever- ปีที่แล้ว +1

    How do we increase our progesterone if we are not ovulating and our progesterone is low?

    • @dr.robinlewis
      @dr.robinlewis  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Oh boy that’s a long answer and it depends on why it’s low. For some they may opt for herbal progesterone boosters like Vitex, some may use bio identical hormones and for others if you simply get rid of the cause of the low progesterone it will bounce back. It’s not a simple answer and it requires and individualized approach! Hopefully I can do a bigger deep dive into progesterone soon!

  • @CarolGasses

    Why would my blood pressure be consistently extra LOW (for a number of years) after menopause 80s/50s? Until…bio identical progesterone and estrogen were added. Also, when lowering dose for three days, blood pressure immediately dropped again. Conclusion for me - my bp is responsive to these hormones. Traditional medicine totally missed the mark in understanding a critical component of health.

    • @dr.robinlewis
      @dr.robinlewis  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      When it comes to hormones and blood pressure there is always the possibility of it also going to the other way ie low blood pressure. You raise a good point, we don’t spend enough time talking about those who are exceptions to the rule. I’m glad you found a solution that works for you ❤️

      Hypertension has many factors and just because the research says one thing doesn’t mean everyone responds the same way. Aka just because this was your experience doesn’t mean it couldn’t help another
