So cool. I love the pop-up power station or power outlets, and I love the strip you have behind your sink for all of the plants and things like that that you want close to your sink that aren't going to fly all over the place. The way you reuse pallet wood and live edge Walnut and on and on and on is just amazing. You guys did such a good job it looks very very nice in there.
"The University of TH-cam". Love it. Been a student since 2006, no degree yet strangely enough, but I still keep coming back. Great little bus, much respect.
Beautiful build! One of my favorites of all I have seen. Excellent use of the wood. The deck with walkway for cleaning the solar panels is a good idea. I also like the “Dutch door” (welded doors) solution too.
I have to add another comment. That pallet wood with all the different colors used as framing around the openings to the cupboards is genius. When you stand back and take a photo of it is absolutely marvelous the way it opens up the space and enhances the colors in the design that you've got going on. When you were talking about the diesel ⛽ heater, I thought you said beetle eater and I thought what they got Beatles in there with all that gorgeous wood... seriously, yours is my favorite build of all. Tell me where you're parked I have to move in ! With my cat, and all my belongings. 😸
My sis and bro! Omgosh I’m crying! So beautiful, you guys! Shawna, you’re a friggin natural. 💜💜💜 edit - Akram, so are you! You guys are AMAZING and so is Wheelie! Such goals.
-> WHEELIE Nelson♡ Either way this couple has the opportunity of a lifetime to enjoy a wheelie good time witnessing Gods handiwork anywhere they go, the people, the places & NATURE! HOW AWESOME to just sing On the Road Again & DO IT. I mean wheelie WHEELIE DO IT! Thank U so much for sharing your journey! 💕
Everything about this bus is my personality to a T. The mustard yellow color, macrame, cane, funky & bold bohemian vibes….I have never seen a bus that spoke so much to my soul. Those cabinets are so beautiful too. Did she say they were made from pallets? Very cool.
Awww thank you!!! I love this style and tried real hard to execute so I’m so flattered you felt it! Yes all the cabinets were made from uo cycled pallet wood. We just oiled them with tung oil to bring out the tones. Thanks for watching!! :)
Very nice video. Love the beauty of pallet wood, the large sink, roll up wool blanket window covers and outside drop down table. 😊👍 Happy Trails. Be safe.
Exactly I find myself talking to the TV saying no one cares what's in the food pantry. It's just silly this bus looked great and the couple were very inviting.
I agree. I find it so funny when people are giving a tour and wander down a path of explaining every book in their library etc.. this tour was perfect.
I like that hidden compartment great idea. You're idea and another video that had a safe in their rig are the only ones that address valuables and how to keep them safe.
Beautifully done you guys did a great job. I love the counter top the live edge is beautiful and I love all the pallet wood. Im looking for a short bus now I plan on using pallet wood there is plenty of free pallets in my area and lots of saw mills which is good with lumber prices being so high... Thanks for the tour Best Wishes
Very nice build. The pop up plugs and chargers are a nice ad. The countertop is beautifully done. I like how they set up their systems plus the Sammeri is a perfect Chase vehicle. I see an overlander Canon Ball run in their future. We are on our 1st build Overland Beach cruiser. I'm starting to see a trend where it takes 2-3 builds to get your dream build.or Rig.
What a Beautiful build and a Beautiful couple 💑 Best of everything to you both ❤ and thank you the tour and all the great info!!! Happy trails and God Bless!
@@aroundtheson1096 I agree except as a "full time" shower. 😆 🤣 To use as a rinse off the beach sand/hiking dirt/summer drippys, heck yes. NOT in cold weather. Brrrrr!
TO TINY HOME TOURS: It would be very useful/helpful if your interviews also asked what the build out added for weight to the vehicle (before/after), and how the fuel economy (MPG) changed from “Before/After” the build out.
We haven’t flexed our frugal muscles yet with this new build but I’d say it pretty much hinges on how much you travel and where you are. We’ve been staying put for at least 3-4 days and only traveling about 2 hours to each new destination at a time. Also depends on whether you are free camping(which we prefer) but that is more readily available on the west coast than the east. And gas prices of course. Not including groceries/food, I’d say the last month on the western side of the US we’ve spent about $350 on gas and insurance for the bus.
Thank you so much for exposing your secret hiding spot for your valuables.....many other bus and van dwellers do the same. So don't be surprised when you go off hiking or shopping at a store, that your bus may be burglarized. I am an honest citizen and this is a big red flag , IMO
Doesn't reality set in when it comes to health care costs and not working? You also lose such a large amt time to compound your savings/investments. Isn't your rv/ auto type insurance alot higher too if you don't carry health insurance? Just few questions about doing it this way. Seems like nice bus tho I'd need the indoor shower at my age.😆. I'm already retired and did a lot of traveling with my husband and kids(many tents, fishing, van, boat campground) as well as many other trips(England, France to visit my sister, Florida for kids) while saving $$$ for their education and our retirement. I did both and can still travel as I want now. Trick is for you to find work via WiFi/ internet which I'm sure you know better than me. I'm an (retired)RN, husband was teacher with two master degrees. Worked out butts off when we were young because it's not easy when you're older. Good luck and safe travels.
Thank you! I’m actually employed but commission based so I work when I need. Retirement and healthcare included plus some passive income in there. All good points!
We added more solar, batteries, water, hot water heater, a more expensive sink, painted, etc. All of those things added up. Also did some suspension work.
again, can't watch the full tour because you have to list every item in each cupboard.......just do the video. why do you have to fill it full of useless information? i want to see the design and water heater ideas and such. I don't' care if you put towels and dog food in which space. seriously, like everything else some one came up with a model of this. The early ones were spot on but now a days, just useless crap to take up time.

@@shawnam9204 you have the best style! I absolutely love your bus, you guys did an amazing job! It's beautiful!!! Thanks for the tour!
Original design. Great colours.
It is my absolute dream to have a home like this. Well done. Efficient and beautiful. Enjoy and be safe. X♡
Aww thank you!!!
Willie Nelson!!! That is a marvelous name.

Thank you! Our friend definitely came up with that for us but we had to!
I love Wheelie Nelson, Shawna and Akram know how to build a bus, and have a damn good time too!!!
"Retiring first and working later, we found the concept intriguing" Ha ha ha. Love it.
Your tiny home has so much personality! It's wonderful! Thank you for the tour. I really enjoyed it!
Nice build very cozy feel looks comfortable
And we'll thought out. And your tow vehicle is the perfect size. Well done.

Awesome so glad you love it! Thanks for watching!
Thank you both for sharing your beautiful home and keeping things real with this lifestyle.
Thank you so much! :)
They know how to give a tour: hit the high points, and don’t open every cabinet.
Isn’t that the truth! I find it pointless when people open their cabinets like ‘here’s our granola and pancake mix and garlic powder…’ so weird.
Exactly I find myself talking to the TV saying no one cares what's in the food pantry.
It's just silly this bus looked great and the couple were very inviting.
Yes!!! Or they give you their spiritual meaning behind every object they own…. 🤦🏻♀️

This is by far one of my favorite tours! Love Shawna's style! ❤
Love your bus… Great job… Good luck to you…Enjoy every minute of your life ♥️
Wow! On the outside, their bus is so cute and aesthetic as well as inside!

I've had some favorites from this show but this one takes the prize.
I like that hidden compartment great idea. You're idea and another video that had a safe in their rig

Yes! We probably shouldn’t have shown it haha but the people need to know it’s possible!!!
Absolute worse thing is to show people where your safe area is.
Congrats guys. Loved your tiny home. You really inspired me to build my mobile home. Thanks for sharing.
Well that is the best compliment you could give! Please do it! It’s like nothing else. See you out there!

I love your Videos they are so good quality
Beautiful couple, beautiful home, 😍vaya con Dios, great trips.
You've made a stunning home on wheels.. I absolutely love it... It looks so homely... 💗

Awesome little bus,you guys did a great job, stay safe!
Damn, that kitchen board ! Freakin beautiful ! 👍
Thank you! We were super nervous doing it but think it turned out pretty well!
Cute build out. At my age, I'd need an indoor shower 😆 🤣
Y'all be safe & hope to see you one day!
Yes! Dooo itttt!
Come on now. Any age can enjoy an outdoor shower. ❤👩🦳

I really love your bus
I seen so many van and bus built videos...... I really want to do it
I love your bus and the university of TH-cam

Really beautiful design! Really liked this couple. I would follow them if they started a TH-cam channel.
Thank you so much! We are definitely considering!!

Also helpful: whether they added in a toilet/shower, how they deal with water, energy etc
Gorgeous colours
Adorable! Love their style. ;)
I didn't realize you can put the batteries on the side like that interesting
Yes! They say ventless but we did that for space and extra safety. :)
Really wanna know which insurance companies are allowing these cubic minis and rooftop patios…for those on the up and up.
Nice in every way ..👍.. cheers 🇦🇺
Nice little bus
Look good nice job
Beautiful!!!+
Beautiful
Bitchen build and many great ideas. Really like the wood look, more a cabin look. Enjoy your road trips 😎✌☕📖
Thank you so much! Our cabin on wheels!
Very nice!
Thank you!!
Everyone : House is so good
Me: She has a Ganapathi Bappa tattoo
Your pallet wood looks better than most of the expensive garbage
Really nice
We appreciate that! :)
It took me awhile to realize that the name of the bus was "Wheelie Nelson" not Willie Nelson
I know we didn’t do a great job of notating that but thank you for watching!
Love it
How much does it cost to live a month?

I always thought that spices should be kept in the dark environment and not on a windowsill. This is just my thoughts not a judgment.
You are probably right haha but we use em up pretty quick! :)
Oh people, when will you stop showing the world your 'secret' cabinets? Isn't the name a hint?
Hmmm, it's probably fine but I would not want to put my propane tank in the same space as my electrical system.
I know I know! 🤦🏼♀️ it was an afterthought haha
For some reason I can not believe this
Cute but not a fan of the toilet pretty much in the kitchen.
Haha I get that! We didn’t have too many options but can put up a curtain to kind of separate at those times :)
Have propane in the same spot as batteries is life hazard!
Hmm we researched it and couldn’t find anything about it being hazardous but we will check into it again! The box is vented as well.

I smell Ganja on this one
Lots of bargains, so confused as to the $30K price tag???
We added more solar, batteries, water, hot water heater, a more expensive sink, painted, etc. All of those things added up. Also did some suspension work.

Agreed. I was super nervous!

Sorry, it just doesn't look like $30 K. too much Goodwill chic.
