  • What do you do when you live on a sailboat and there is a storm? Cape Town is known for its sunshine as much as it is for its wind. It is not called The Cape of Storms for nothing. During our time as liveaboards, refitting our 36 ft sailboat, we experienced more than our fair share of windy days and galeforce winds.
If you want to know more about the club, or visiting Cape Town on your yacht, you can contact FBYC via their website. www.fbyc.co.za
For all your spearfishing and snorkelling gear, give www.rabitech.com a try. This is by no means a paid promotion :) We just like them.

We are planning to live and explore the Indian Ocean from our sailboat. We did a refit of a TOSCA 36 and left Cape Town in October 2018. A large part of sailing is learning how to be adaptable and change plans - our biggest being our failed engine as we were making our way from Knysna to Port Elizabeth. Follow along as we figure out how to live with less.

Bounce a plenty! We have already left actually. I am a bit behind on the videos. Already in Knysna and enjoying the small town hospitality
