Alll the reviews and comparisons of the RS Focus which do not include wet cornering and roundabout performance miss the whole point of the RS. (Sorry BMW your oversteer would be hopelessly excessive)

Definitely not worth spending all that money to try and beat an automatic and I’m not sure but I think there’s a big weight difference.. the focus is soooo heavy ! But I wouldn’t have anything else, the RS is my dream car. I’ve got a scorpion exhaust and it’s the best one by a mile ! And I use dreamscience map ultimate 3 and I reckon I would beat his 420 ! And I paid £450 !

It’s a shame the m140 I isn’t 4 wheel drive but I think the new ones are gonna be 😁 . I love my Rs especially with the mods and the right map it’s the best manual I have ever driven lots of fun . Thanks for the great vids keep up the good work thanks.

I don't like either. Compared to the B58's symphony orchestra, they both sound a bit like un-tuned banjo's. But it really doesn't matter, either way, if their owners like the sound of an un-tuned banjo. It's just one of those subjective things.. As long as they don't behave like those 17 year old boy racers that like to seek out and 'impress' static audiences, in high streets up & down the nation.
I don’t think the new RS sounds good, stock or tuned. It’s not a nice noise.

£13,000 into an M140i would see pure800 turbo, catless downpipe, dorch fuel pump, and well over 500bhp !

@@lookship The pure turbo's demo car is running 660bhp now :-P christ, it is Xdrive though, so wild but just about controllable. I have no idea what 660bhp in a RWD M140i would be like.

I have a mk3 RS and when you showed that engine bay lol 420bhp what that’s not true cast mountune inlet manifold crossover piping it’s running way more than 420
If it's running way more than 420 and my standard (at the time) M140i could keep up with it with 355 then there's a serious problem lol
I have that pipe and mine has 375bhp. It means nothing.

13k on a 140 is gonna get you a diff, coileys, meth, hpfp and hybrids which will take you upto around 700bhp without touching the internals
even have enough for a nice AP or Alcon big brake kit.
13k on an RS would be similar if you just bought the mods you need. Ive only spent 3k on mine and have the same map and power.
No it wouldn't be similar the rs can't even take 400bhp on stock internals you'd need a full rebuild their engines are shite

See there's a Ford owner watched this (currently 129 likes 1 dislike) sorry Ford but the inside is shite and hasn't changed since the Sierra or possibly even the Cortina.
You don't need to spend 13k to run the MSD420 map. Ive got the same map and only spent 3k all in. Even then I've got a few additional mods that arn't completely necessary. For 13k you could get an RS well into the 500bhp club, maybe even 600 if you're lucky.
I thought to say the same, you do not need to spend 13,000, he uses it as a claim for the title of the video, but it is a hoax
you don’t have to spend it to run msd420 but it has been spent on this motor to go over and above what’s required for a msd420.
@@tombrown3865 my point is, to those who don't know a thing about tuning an RS (which is probably most people who don't own one). This video implys you have to spend 13k to get that kind of power. Especially when he says the 140 would be a monster if 13k was spent on it. So would an RS if you went for just performance mods.
The spec list is listed within the video? Which lists mats wheels suspension brakes all of which aren’t for bhp gain.
And again buy nether and buy a mk2 Rs
