You don’t know how helpful these borders could be. I’m a knitter who hasn’t been able to pick up crochet but watching your beginner videos I may now give it 1 last go as these borders could really finish off baby blankets beautifully - Thank you 🥰

Thank you so much for this tutorial. Other videos had a very curvy edge but I was looking for something for a boys blanket. Can I make a query, does the multiple of 7 include the 5 stitches in the corners or just the straight edges?
    This is perfect. 💙

You're welcome! The multiple includes all of the stitches, including those worked around the corners. It might help you to take a look at the blog post here which includes some extra details and a close up photograph: bellacococrochet.com/my-favourite-crochet-borders/ 😊

Hi there, I wanted to clarify the math for this pattern. You mentioned it should be a multiple of 7, but it seems like the pattern repeats every 6 stiches and not 7:
    Stitch 1: chain (or sc)
    Stitch 2: skip
    Stitch 3: skip
    Stitch 4: 3dc, chain 3, slip stitch, 3 dc
    Stitch 5: skip
    Stitch 6: skip
Stitch 7 would be a sc, which is basically back to Stich 1. So shouldn't it be multiples of 6?
    Am I missing something?

Can you do this kind of border on a corner to corner blanket? If so could you provide an example? Thank you.
