    FAQs??
-How many squares do I need for a baby blanket?
This can vary, it really can be however big or small you like, but i generally do 4x4 or 5x5.
This blog post might be useful: bit.ly/1UIobie
-How many chains shall I do for a *single/double/etc' blanket?
Again, this can vary. I would suggest that you do your chain and lay it down agains the bed you are wanting it for. It should be the same width. You should then ad a few more to make it a little wider.
This blog post might be useful: bit.ly/1UIobie
-How much yarn do I need?
Unfortunately, I will not be able to answer individuals questions about how much yarn you would used do to multiple factors affecting it. Such as, your tension, the size of hook and the yarn being used.
    -What equipment do you use?
    Camera: amzn.to/2jkNDl2
    Tripod: amzn.to/2w4ReK8

THANK YOU! I started a ripple using another tutorial, but was having difficulties. The best tip in your video was about which stitches to start increases and decreases. I was totally hung up on that and you corrected it. No one else I watched mentioned that important part. Its especially helpful to get you back aligned if the # of your stitches aren't correct!

Thank you! I haven't begun one of these in a long time, although I'm a senior and have been crocheting for many years. This tutorial helped me to re-learn how to start the ripple stitch for a baby blanket. Thanks again. Blessings.

Sarah-Jayne, I've been learning to crochet for 1 1/2 years...still consider myself a Beginner. Having said that, I am at a most exciting moment, as I have started a ripple blanket using this video! And, I would never doubt you have great and exceptional talent, but I have tried other patterns (obviously not yours) and had not been successful. This morning, I have success!! Thanks to you!! After completing my blanket, I will send you a photo. Making it for a friend.
    Thank you again!!

I've tried to do a ripple countless times over the last three years to no avail and quite a bit of frustration but maybe it's a combination that I've become more confident in my work and understand more but I do really believe that it's this tutorial which has been the easiest and best explained tutorial of the plethora of tutorials I've taken the past three years. I have had a box of countless unsuccessful tries that eventually were frogged to reuse the yarn again and this time I believe I finally have gotten it and better yet I understand it. Also, if I am careful I just go directly to each new stitch in the order if the pattern and not worry so much about matching up the stitches to the row below. If I just go to each new stitch and use the correct stitch in the correct order I should come out even in every row and that is exactly what is happening. Now, I do know it's important to have the stitches mesh with each prior row but if I'm using the correct stitch in the pattern as I go and not skip any stitches I am finding that I am coming out perfect at the end of each row remembering to start and end each row as in the pattern with a double stitch in both the first and last stitch in every row carefully using the stitch according to the pattern not skipping the next stitch in the row. I find I'm not such a fanatic trying to line up the stitches row by row as I'm carefully following the pattern and feel much more confident and I'm actually finding a more relaxed pace as I am
not in such a hurry to make a mistake and therefore less in a hurry to rush through to end.
Thank you again from a very satisfied and more confident avd inspired crocheter. I'll be sure now to follow Bella Coco for more new stitches and patterns and I'll
be adding many new stitches and more patterns to my cache of stitches which gives me so much more versatility and choice in my work.

I learned to crochet 25yrs ago as a 5th grader during an after school program, and I've not really crocheted much since. Until my Autistic Daughter ruined her crocheted blanket from a family member 4yrs later. I knew the pattern I wanted to do, just didn't know how and I'm not able to read patterns yet, I have a hard time with those. This made it so easy and I'm only 3 rows in now and I feel so at home and at ease making it. Thank you for such an easy guide!

Very good instructons. I started a 45" x 65' blanket following this pattern and the few inches I have already completed look very nice. I am using an Ombre Super Saver acrylic yarn in blue shades with an "I" hook (5.5mm). The color shades change every couple of rows on their own so I don't need to cut the yarn to add a new color.

I am so impressed with your vide and the way you just get straight onto the crocheting also the most important part of the lesson was explained which made such a difference to me as I was trying to do the increases and decreases in line with the prior row now knowing the proper way to do it has made it so easy for me. Was totally stressed for the two days prior as I couldn’t get it right and so wanted to make this blanket for my daughter.
Thank you so much for your advice.I will be following your posts for ever more.xxx

Tracy Van Alphen, did you finish the queen blanket? How many rolls of yarn did it take?

Your tutorial was excellent and, as a beginner, I learned so much. I was wondering if you might have the instructions written down and if they can be shared with me. I am having some trouble with the beginning and end of each row. I’m sure that I’m not increasing or decreasing appropriately and that’s probably the problem. If I had some written instructions I think my error would be immediately apparent. Thanks in advance for your help.

Thank you for your "easy to follow" tutorial - it was easy to write down the directions !! I'm making it in jade & white yarn colors & since it's a new pattern for me I check each row because it's easier to "frog" 1 row than several rows !! Thank you again !! 💕💕
