I subscribed for the books and I’m staying for the spiritual knowledge! I can definitely relate to growing up in an Abrahamic religion that groomed me (Islam) and it still affects people around me who are still in it. I don’t like to be judgmental towards people’s beliefs but you can tell most of them are unhappy and delusional, sadly. I’ve always wanted to learn more about Zorastrianism, especially after I learned that my ancestors practiced it. Also I’ve had a fascination with Ahura Mazda and Ahriman for years now so this information is very helpful thank you 🤍

I agree with the general gist of what you are saying and I also believe Zoroastrianism is of critical importance in this time in history. I just wanted to point out that we need to define as well what we mean by "punishment". Parents "punish" their children, in that sense of "discipline". Some of them, at least, do it because they love their children and seek to correct them when they cannot guide or govern themselves in a responsible way (due to their immaturity, lack of awareness, lack of life experience, etc.) in order to protect them. I don't think we would say that "punishment", in this sense, is evil, nor that parents should not punish in this sense of proportionate, justified disciplining. Might not this also apply to God in some sense?
