It would undoubtedly take a while, but it would be cool to somehow use a texture pack to show which items can't be used. Like an X on their inventory sprites, or something. I haven't finished the video yet, so don't be too hard if he did that.
i undestand if you wouldn't do it because of the challenge being too similar, but maybe once you are done with this run, you could try an "reverse" one, where the forbiden item become allowed and vice versa ? i think it would be interesting to see the other side of the coin.

With very advanced algorithms, it could also check dependencies so exactly half of all items are banned, instead of the obvious issue of most crafted items always being banned. 2/3rds and 3/4ths could probably be settings too.
It's crazy that you happened to stumble upon the nurse but didn't have the petty change to pay for a heal. That's the game's own way of rolling NO 😂
13:16 i didnt know that it was that rare? ive been playing terraria for a couple years and ive found one on pretty much every playthrough
Mana Regen Potions are amazing! I usually don't even bother with regular mana potions and just use mana regen potions instead.
minutes ~9-11 is just a series of being slapped in the face
i enjoyed the stardew video, and this seems like an interesting challenge, especially becuase you can just reroll it again for a difference challenge. alternatively, you could do things like 'cannot use anything mined or fished, only looted from chests/pots or enemy drops' or the other way around, only mined/crafting items
this is such a cool idea! great video as always, keep creating
NEW WAND OF SPARKING VIDEO WOOOOOO
I do wonder if you could make something that would automatically make a ressource pack to show which item you can & cannot use.
Or/And a mod.
It would undoubtedly take a while, but it would be cool to somehow use a texture pack to show which items can't be used. Like an X on their inventory sprites, or something. I haven't finished the video yet, so don't be too hard if he did that.
Nice majoras mask moon you got there! Would have been perfect for that majoras mask run you had a while ago (unless I didn't notice it)
Not being able to use platinum coins, is like being the person with a coin jar,
Except their all gold coins.
I just want to say that you are one of my favorite content creators
11:31 THE ONE PIECE
the best part of this was how you only got rid of 50% of items yet most sub pools of items were getting hit with 75% of them missing.
I would love to see a video where you count just how many items you even need to beat Terraria
SOMETHING is going to be a hindrance.
babe wake up wand of sparking posted
i undestand if you wouldn't do it because of the challenge being too similar, but maybe once you are done with this run, you could try an "reverse" one, where the forbiden item become allowed and vice versa ? i think it would be interesting to see the other side of the coin.
I have thought about that, it would be interesting. I'd have to see if people were interested, but it could be a possibility.
Do remember that you can find an anvil underground, so as long as the upgrades and ore required to make one aren't banned, you should be able to craft the hardmode anvil to use (as long as that isn't banned either)
I did find one in the first cabin I found, but decided not to use it. I thought about it though, would be kinda interesting to build a base around it.
Can’t wait to enjoy some peak Terraria content
Definitely would like to see a hardmode runthrough of this
never knew the glow tulip where that rare, got two last time i played and they where pretty close to each other found them in the underground ocean
If any of hardmode anvils not banned, you can find some cans of worms and try fish necessary bars to craft it
