      Never use an angle grinder to buff a vehicle, they spin way to fast and you will cut through the clear coat in an instant. Buffers look like angle grinders but spin much slower

    V-belts are universal, just walk into the parts store and buy one the same length, the part number printed on the belt tells the length, or it's easy enough just to match a new one up to the old one.

    A couple of days before your first midget episode I had one come to live in my garage for the next couple of years until it’s able to be placed on historic rego. It’s the father in-laws and is apparently the first midget imported and complied in Australia. Asked him a bit more about it and it turns out he used to import and comply them for years. If you guys run into any issues let me know and I’m happy to fire some questions his way on your behalf.

    You should match the bumpers, headlight bezels and fog light covers with the goldish/brass of the rims. That would make the midget look complete and possibly show us the process in getting it matched other than rattlecan! FYI I bought one of your MCM collector edition Books with your guys’ signature. I was in the Afghanistan war on terrorism for three tours and this is my favorite book in my collection. Much love and support from the USA!

    i think the cable ties in the back could have been used as tie down points for nets, having them big keeps things adjustable and easy to use. it didnt look like there were many/any small hook points, nets usually have pretty small hooks. just a thought.

    These are so weird! The interior is really asymmetric. The rear view mirror in not in the middle, the head unit is on the wrong side, if you want to get out on the passenger(?) side you will cop a gearstick knob right where you don't really want it. Quirkiness aside though, I have to say it's a cute little bugger!

    • @toypop96
      @toypop96 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The two seater versions are even weirder; only available as a column shift auto since a manual would be awkward with the gearstick between the passenger’s legs, and the second seat is literally just a little stool grafted on to the end of the driver’s seat. Would be very cosy to say the least.

    You guys said in the first video that inner-city bars used these are transport. The cable ties are probably related to tying down kegs of beer.

    As classic Minis run 10s, I’d highly recommend Yokohama A008 or A032 tyres. Awesome grippy rubber and Japanese so perfect for the Midget.

    Oh man it's so exciting to watch another episode of mighty reactor mods! Also maybe RAD-CR because if you put two of these too close together they heat up 😉.
